What did you do with this EB5 when you bought your Pro+? If the battery can’t be removed, it basically just rides into a landfill?
Does Swagtron actually have replacement batteries for the Pro+, so you can double your distance by carrying a spare?

Never got the pro+. Still have the eb5. Since this video, I’ve gotten a Rad mini and Lectric XP Premium! So fun! But yes, if you have two batteries, you can double your range. I have two batteries for the red mini. And the Lectric XP premium with the mid drive comes with two batteries.
@@wendelljfreviews Hi Random, thanks for your response! The XP Premium would be my “dream e-bike!” But, as a lady going on 70 and needing to transport a bike in my Mazda CX-5, the XP Premium and I would have quite a fight, and I’m pretty sure who would lose! 😳
I’m thinking, however, about the XP Lite, in hopes I could hoist it up. Maybe if I could find a used one, I could try it and see if I could manage it. With a rack on it for books, groceries, whatever, I think it would be enough e-bike for me, and I don’t live in the mountains.
I have a Zizzo Urbano folding bicycle, which goes all around with me so I can ride every chance I get beyond just around my 10-mile neighborhood loop! I’m a foldie all the way!

@@wendelljfreviews Update: I did get the "Pro +" Version, and it's a great bike! Some things relating to the brakes have worn out already (thankfully not the battery), but it was relatively inexpensive to get them replaced. I still wouldn't go with any other bike!
Do you think this e-bike would fit someone over 6 foot tall? Is the 15 mile range on throttle or power-assist mode? Is it hard to pedal the bike past the longer distances once it runs out of juice?
Honesty, if you’re over 6ft you may want to find a different bike. However, I’m 5’10 and it’s pretty comfortable to me. Range of 15 miles is about right if you are using peddle assist and throttle together. And yes, if you run out of juice, it’s going to suck. It’s not that great at being a regular bike. However, you can still peddle. It’s a good bike if you’re range is 15 miles. The new version of this bike has a removable battery, you could stop and charge it.
Someone 6'4" did a review he was also 260 lbs. he rated the EB5 Pro highly and highly recommended it. I bought two of these during Black Friday last year for 250.00 each shipped still in the boxes can't wait to use them. Save the box folks never know if you will need to ship back.
Exelect review, so how does it do in the rain and off road (on stuff like grass)?
It’s good in light to medium rain but I’ve never used it in heavy rain, I mean coming down in sheets kind of rain. I didn’t want to risk messing up the electronics. Off-road is OK if the dirt is packed. No flats so far. But it’s not so great in sand, these wheels will not give you traction in sand.

Can you pedal while it is throttle mode? How has it held up since this video?
Never tried pedaling with throttle but it is still running strong. I may want to install a longer range battery at some point. Or I may just leave it at the 15 mile range it already has. And I’m probably not getting 15 miles out of it now, maybe 10-13 miles range.

I haven't had a flat yet. But you could always keep a mini pump and patch kit with you.
