I have hydronic heating System thank you for your videos, you are saving a lot of my retirement money, lol thank you very much. You are like lawyers A love hate relationship lol
I have hydronic heat, thanks for your video, and learning a lot, especially why my wallet is getting emptied out LOL you are saving my retirement money thank you
Steve, another great one. My Dettson is blowing off at 30 PSI even though I replaced the pressure relief valve and the Watts supply regulator (10-25 PSI). Temperature cut off on Aquastat seems to be an issue, creeping up to 200+ over set limit of 180 - would that cause the pressure increase and the blow off?
I’m kinda glad to have a furnace heated home because after seeing a video of what could happen, I’m kinda terrified of the risk of a boiler explosion taking out one of the neighboring rooms However I’m still fascinated with anything mechanical which is why I came here
I saw an add for the prv you replaced near the end of the vid showing two models about $16.00, I just replaced mine after relieving air in the boiler (VAC) and it refused to stop dripping. It was a watts 174 but It was $75.00 trade price, after seeing the one you had I wonder, why the big difference?
Edit forgot to add could be your relief valve is stuck. Which is equally dangerous. Check the rating of the valve. If rated for 30 based on part number. Try opening it a few times to try and make it work again but proabbaly time for a new valve . It can blow I'd pressure is too high
