- Welcome to the Madden 24 Franchise Rebuild with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Raiders are a team that's struggled for decades. Many have tried to fix this once great franchise but the Raiders have hired (and fired) 9 head coaches, have had 13 10+ loss seasons, all since their last playoff win in the 2002 AFC Championship Game.
There is a lot of dust in the trophy case as the Raiders last won a Super Bowl 40+ years ago. No team should rebuild as long as they've had to. Now I'm looking take them over to restore this Franchise to its' former glory.
On my MrHurriicaneLP channel I make sports gaming lets play series. My series focus on building teams and players from sports like baseball and football. I play games such as Madden 24, NCAA Football 14, MLB The Show 23 and more.

Y'know, something occurred to me after last episode: Denzel Stockton is 6-foot-6, has a cannon for an arm, is more or less bald… You might be able to make a half-decent case he's kinda-sorta JaMarcus Russell, 15th-ish anniversary edition.
…Here's hoping he has a much, much better career, though. Make the Bears regret taking a Tight End over him, Vegas! (Chicago passing on a QB who becomes a superstar in the AFC West; where have I heard that one before? :P)
As a Bears fan this comment hurts , but you’re right. Drafting Rex Grossman in 2003 over Kliff Kingsbury was a mistake.

Stockton’s traits really remind me of CJ Stroud. Really accurate passer and not afraid to push the ball downfield. He’s just a fair bit taller lmao.

as a Raider fan I watched every snap from this team this past season and I will say that if you do want a speedster you can 100% raise Tre Tuckers speed to at least a 96. Dude ran a 4.32 40 at the combine and they give him a 91 initially and raised it to a 94. I still think at least 96 is fair. Pretty sure 4.35 and under for 40 time is at least a 95 speed rating. Just Win Baby.

Excited to see how this rebuild plays out. One thing I do wish Madden would do better is the scheduling though mainly just the fact that week 18 should be a divisional opponent for all 32 teams. Not just one of your other opponents chosen at random
The game looks amazing, so fluid, just watching how qbs throw the ball looks soo good, then the little extra way the players move after the play, really nice to look at

I also rebuilt the raiders in M24. If you stick it out, Tre Turner develops into a very nice WR.👍👍
Can't wait for the next episode in this series! I wasn't sure about bringing back josh Jacobs, because paying a running back when you don't have a qb didn't make sense to me, until Stockton was drafted. Now we see what a young qb can do, immediately and think this off-season was a great start to the series.

You need a QB with a minimum of 80+ awareness or they will never be any good.
That's been my experience anyway.
i love your content on both channels came when it comes to the saints and raiders especially. but what i will say cane is that i love this style WAYYYY more only because as you said, ratings come more into play here. you can take a team like the commanders and beat the chiefs user controlled but we know that that’s not happening cpu vs cpu lol. but definitely keep up this style. i’m going to support both. i would like the in depth approach also that you have with your saints franchise with this one.

This is the best way to play franchises on madden. The AI gameplay in madden 24 looks clean and realistic

In the future you should move Tyree Wilson to be the Rush DT and have Koonce be Rush RE/LE so Koonce can get more playing time

Man it's going to be tough rooting for the Raiders but if that's the team...then that's the team! I've been looking forward to this slow sim franchise
Cane, I feel like you need to do a deep dive into the scouting. I know you want a lot of info on DTs, but they only have 11 traits. And since “percent scouted” isn’t actually a percentage and is only 1 trait revealed for every 10% scouted, a 50% DT reveals 5 traits which is almost half unlocked. Compare that to a QB, HB, WR, and TE who have around 18 traits, 50% for them is still only 5 traits fully unlocked, which isn’t nearly enough when those traits include kick return and run blocking. The 5 traits for a 50% OL/DL are more likely to be useful info.
A 1 star DT scout at national would give you 75% scouting for DT, which unlocks 7 of 11 traits and those other 4 are at two letter range versus three, and if you really wanted to fully scout, you have your three 30% focus for them. Then you can use your higher star scouts in region and on other positions of need that have more traits to learn more about them than you otherwise would.
….I spent a lot of time trying to optimize my scouting… lol

So, just for fun I decided to grade every throw (we could see) from Denzel Stockton (a'la PFF). I graded him on a scale of -2.5, -1.5, -1, -0.5, 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 where 2.5 is a excellent play (see the dropped Myers huge play) and -2.5 is a terrible play (an example of a -2.0 throw was the throw at 26:42 where h threw it into coverage in the red zone). The player always starts the game at a 0.
At the end of the video Stockton hade a grade of 18.5 with a couple of really good graded throws in there. He also threw a surprisingly few amount of bad throws considering his Aggresive trait.
Anyway, thought it would be fun to drop it in here.

You should change the qb helmet to a speed flex
Stockton needs a new helmet like a Schutt F7 or something. I dont believe anyone is allowed to wear the helmet he's currently wearing unless you were in the league wearing it prior to new helmet requirements. ie. Aaron Rodgers and Antonio Brown.
