Same thoughts here. Only benefit to the duramax is that it’s probably simpler to integrate over a 2500 gm product into the hummer

I will start off by saying that this is a nice rig. The diesel conversion gives this truck the engine it should have had from the beginning. However the H2 and H3 are in no way Hummers. The H2 is basically just a GMC Yukon with a fancy square body on it and the H3 is little more than a Chevy Blazer with a fancy square body on it. General Motors take on the original Military grade Hummer. The civilian Hummer was a great improvement on the original with all of the added creature comforts and better engines but these vehicles are nowhere near as capable a vehicle as an actual Hummer. I have a friend of mine with an actual Hummer H1 Alpha and it would run rings around any normal H2 even with the engine swap with the exception of top speed and acceleration. Still in all it's a nice ride.

I was watching this and saw Specks Car Wash...I'm like "holy crap I know this truck". I have the Greenish H2 in town. From seeing your driveway, I know your house too. My H2 was at the dealer across the street. Looking at possibly going Duramax In the future.
