I think we should respect the pivotal moments we share with people who come into our lives that helps to shape, inform and heal us as we learn, grow and mature. This man had his place in Kelly’s life to show her this revelation at that exact moment in time. It matters. Even if he didn’t stay the man she needed him to be, he did indeed fulfill that role at one point. And that shouldn’t be forgotten. I know it’s probably hurtful now for Kelly to look back and she how much faith she had in him, but hindsight is always 20/20. At the point in time of this performance she couldn’t have foreseen what the future would hold. He was who she needed him to be to help her through a difficult time. Doesn’t make him a great guy forever & always, but he was what she needed him to be for her at this very moment in her life. And that should matter.

My hope is that she has found peace in her life and opens herself up to finding love because she’s definitely worthy of love.

My kids will never have that life. My father was a drunk and abusive and my kids have not experienced that life at all.
