    I think any discussion on lift kits is incomplete without addressing the tie rod/steering box issue. It’s my understanding that anything beyond the SAS lift exceeds the factory design stresses of the tie rods and steering box, subjecting those to failure.

    I’ll have that Fabtech kit be on my Badlands SAS with-in a month. I can’t wait! I’m also going 35” Baja Boss for tires and leaving them the stock rims. (Not fan of 37” on the Bronco) I’ve already torn up my stock rims and beauty rings, so definitely not putting expensive rims on her. I sprayed the rings with black bed liner spray. They look great and they’re bit more scratch resistant. I’ve had to touch them up quite a few times and it’s cheap, easy and they look great. But that Fabtech lift is what I’m most excited about.

      The Fabtech is the one I picked up. Putting it in first week of February! Debating whether to stay on 35's or go to 37's. I have a full set of each. KM3's on methods. My only hesitation about 37s is, I saw how many problems they caused me with a jeep a few years ago, and I know the front end, especially the steering of the bronco is not as stout as the Jeep. For those same reasons, I am also hesitant to take it anywhere where I would legitimately NEED 37's. Although I do intend to replace the steering box and have already replaced the tie-rods with the fabtech tie rods. That being said, I have also never seen a 37 go anywhere a 35 couldn't also go.

    Thanks for this video, I'm hoping to buy a '22 Bronco Badlands without the Sas package this weekend, so eventually I'll look into lifting it... Wish me luck!

    Great vid. I have a 22 badlands. I'm lookinging to put 35s on it and just a bit of a lift to suit so I'm guessing one of the spacer kits would suffice with out going to crazy. Do u have one you'd recommend for that setup? Thanks!

    Have y’all seen or installed portal axels/portal lift?
    Currently, there are two companies manufacturing them for the bronco.
    This would be the best of the best lift available. But obviously insanely expensive.

    You guys are in a unique postion in that you install all different types of kits and have experienced the results behind the wheel. Instead of just explaining what you sell how about explaining things like comparing ride to stock - plush, harsh, brake dive amounts, on-road and off-road feel, articulation increase or decrease, tire size options at different levels, etc. There is so much you could share with us so we can make the right choice. Just telling us that you sell a bunch of options doesn't really help.

    • @crazynova23
      @crazynova23 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A warranty can only be “voided” if the dealership and Ford determine your modulations caused or played a significant role in a failure. If that happens, only the parts affected by the mods are no longer covered.
      Contrary to popular belief, a dealer can’t see a mod and void your warranty.
