Hi, new subscriber here from Kenya I really love your hair and I am also finding it difficult to embrace the greys...
@@redemptaohola1173 hi there - oh thank you I’m so glad you found me. These grays are definitely stubborn. Thanks for subscribing and watching!
loved it
@@Kaymooree thank you!
Your hair looks very very similar to the texture of mines. But im unsure of what mines is or the porosity. Thank you so much.
@@Janus2.0oh okay cool. My curl pattern has loosened though due to heat. Usually it’s much more kinky and harder to comb out after washing. Albeit you have beautiful hair- thanks for watching.
I have never seen anyone with so much hair! Beautiful though. Does it feel heavy?
@@corinadaschievici9002 thank you so much - it’s only heavy when I’m washing it.
Have you ever seen the channel "Indigenous Strands"?
Hey, Jenise just came by your channel. We have the same name, but my is spelled Genice. You have beautiful hair, btw!❤
@@genicee86 hey we’re twinning- thank you and thanks for watching.

Beautiful hair 🥰

How did you grow your hair so long?
Hi I have always had a decent amount of length but genetics plays a big part. As I got older my hair would only grow to bra length due to me perming. Once I went natural in 2018 and started washing my hair every 1-2 weeks the growth took off. I believe the key to growth is a clean scalp. Also I wore twists for like two years before I put any heat on it. So pretty much just washing it and twisting it and I would style the twist. Every one is different though.
Beautiful hair!! How did you get the dye to stay ? I have to wash my hair first and then apply dye
@StyleLifeWithJenise thank you so much. I've been natural since 2010 and I've been able to grow my hair to waist length at one point. Looking to get it back there. You're right keeping it clean works and co washing helped me a lot. Also I noticed specific products worked for my hair type. I appreciate you.
Such a motivation!! You’re so gentle and patient ❤
@@kaamona6810 Awh thanks so much I appreciate you watching.
I know your hairdresser must love playin in your hair 😂😍
@@TwinBleaks not really years ago when I went I was there for 6-8 hours at a time and my hair wasn’t nearly as long but it was thick. Now if I go I usually do most of the work and let them flat iron it and give me a good trim.
@@StyleLifeWithJenise Ah okay, I'd love your hair if I was a stylist, all the possibilities 😍😭
@@TwinBleaks yep I’ve done a lot with it that’s for sure lol

Hello, im so happy Found your Chanel your hair is beautiful.. Is your hair naturally that thick or is there something that you do to help it. If so please share. Keep it up your content looks great. I love how this video was simple an straight to the pointt.
@@Jesusloveslia hi there - Awh thank you I’m glad you found me too. Yep my hair is super thick always has been. I’m glad you liked the video and the content- I’m trying to improve and it’s hard but I will hang in there.
New sub_ beautiful hair 😍
Thank you and thanks for subscribing. I will also subscribe to your channel.
I sprayed my hair dark brown after years of growing my gray streaks out. All I have to say was HOW BORING!!!!!! CANT WAIT TO WASH THIS OUT OF MY HAIR AND RECLAIM MY NATURAL GOD GIVEN STREAKS! 💃 😂
@@1love847 oh wow sounds like your gray streaks were beautiful - I would probably embrace it if mines came in streaks.
You have some Beautiful 😍 Hair. Do you use Dye or Semi Permanent Color, also what kind. It looks like it takes good. Bless You 😊 ❤️ 💙 💜.
@@vcadoree193 hi thank you. I use to use clairol then henna and now I use Madison Reed it’s permanent but I’ve only used it twice not sure but it does a good job; not sure if I will keep going with it though; I’m trying to find another henna. Thank you bless you too and thanks for watching.
@StyleLifeWithJenise I met this young Lady whose Mom is from Asia, She told me that her Mom & Other Relatives. Get that Henna Color From the Indian Grocery Stores & it only Costs like 2 or 3 Dollars. But she Saya that it is not a Color it just colors your hair to your Natural Hair Color, so whatever your Natural Non Grey Color is it will turn that color. ☺️ ❤️ 💙 💜
@@vcadoree193 oh okay I use to buy it in black and that was the color that deposited into my hair; it came in a package and all you had to do was add water but the company went out business I’m so bummed. Maybe I will look there if I can, thank you for the information.
@@StyleLifeWithJenise You're very welcome 🙏 🤗.
So beautiful and long! I wanna be like you when I grow up! LOL! I know that my hair can get this long if I stay away from bleach. No more big chops for me!
@@EpicRealistTV thank you - yeah the chemicals will definitely do a number on your hair but hey we all did it. Yep just find what works for you and stick to it. I have a video coming up explaining what I did but I really didn’t do much.
@@StyleLifeWithJenise Okay, awesome! You're welcome. I have found what works and at 37 yrs old and 5 kids later, my hair is finally thicker than it ever was in adulthood. Almost waist length again!
@@EpicRealistTV oh wow see it’s a beautiful thing when you find what works. Albeit those kids are beautiful too.

@@THEFINESTINTROVERTS wow thanks - ditto! You are beautiful as well - subscribed!!
When you stopped relaxing in 2016 did you do a big chop or just slowly transition? Thank you for sharing your experience and journey.
Great question- I just transitioned and I would cut like 1-2 inches off whenever I clipped my ends. I wore twist after each wash for the first 2-3 years. It’s my pleasure to share.
Hi, what is your hair type? It's beautiful.
@@lonealotlately2546 hi thank you. O don’t really get into hair typing but if I had to guess -4b-c
I have just come across your Channel. Wow you are truly blessed with gorgeous hair. Hope you don’t mind me asking, where are are parents from , for you to have their genes , which has contributed to your beautiful hair. My grandmother mother had hair just like yours. Cuban, but looked Indian. I didn’t get her hair genes🤭, for my hair to grow that length. Thank you for sharing your hair care. God bless 💖
@@srobinson4070 thank you - glad you found me; both my parents are black. My mother’s great grandfather is white. I’m sure genes play a big part. Thanks for watching .

Thank you- yeah sometimes they get tired but I have it down to a science when I’m not filming lol
I’ve heard really good things about this hair color brand, how long does it last before you have to retouch???
Hi, it only last about as fast as your hair grow in my opinion. My hair grows pretty fast so for me it last about 3 weeks before I the grays come back. I've seen this brand for a few years and never used it because I always used henna and my sister told me she uses it so that's why I started. I'm going to try the shampoo one and see if that works.
@@StyleLifeWithJenise thanks so much for the response, I’ve always wanted to try the henna but never did because I done want the red hues but I hear you have to mix it with indigo if you want the black results. 😊
@@flavaenhancer3908 oh you’re welcome - the kind I bought came in different colors, black brown and all you had to do was mix it with water and apply. It was so easy but they went out business. It use to make my hair so shiny. I sure miss them because I don’t want to go thru all the steps with henna. I’m so sad lol
Gorgeous hair, what’s your hair type?
@@shalom4441-o6i thank you - I don’t really believe in that hair typing- I think that’s just a way for them to make money off of us. Maybe 4b-c, thick and kinky.
