The only reason why the dad was telling him to go back where he came from and to wear a mask was because, #1 the dad apparently came back from china and the COVID-19 situation is still bad there. #2 he was telling the kid to go back where he came from because the girl who was recording and her boyfriend were being racist to roommate. Personally I don't like these kind of videos, ones where there is obviously some backstory we're missing. I don't know, but if that were the case I can imagine getting that angry. It's real easy to watch a video without context and just roast the hell out of someone, when really we don't know. In this case, in particular, I am leaning towards the dad's side tbh, but I concede we don't have a enough context to truly know.
That's the point, there is no context, we are just watching what happened in the video and that is a grown old man trying to get physical with another dude and be racist. Even if there was a backstory to this which could cause him to get angry, it is never ok to get physical and scream and yell, you are just proving how childish he is. If there actually was something going on that we don't have the context of, the dad should of either talked to the girls roommate not the boyfriend, and also tried to get her in a different dorm if possible not what he did in the video. Defending the dad in this scenario is brain dead.
