Big props to the guy who went back and fought for his job, I hope he finds a better job that has his back in the future
Unfortunately, most companies are spineless. If there is any controversy or drama going on with one of their employees, they'll just throw their hands up and disassociate themselves with everybody involved for plausible deniability. It doesn't matter what it is. They won't investigate to see what's going on. Doesn't matter if some crazy lunatic just starts fighting you for no reason. You fought a potential customer and that might make the company look bad on the internet, so you're fired.
@@electronix6898 This.
They don't even bother to think that if they backed up the employee that they would get positive publication on the internet, and potentially bring in more customer.
Calling ripping off a door dash driver for free food a “hack” is the same as saying robbing a bank is a financial “hack”
For real! SMH. It's like "hack" is a modern reference to "stealing", "cheating", "breaking the rules", ect, ect... A way to condition society to what is wrong.
Banks are big faceless corporations worth billions, the delivery driver is a contractor, rather rob the bank, they are bigger thieves than I could ever hope to manage anyway.

I drove back to the store, got a 3rd box, waited in line for the same cashier, then had them scan it and put it back after I apologized and explained what had happened. Someone behind me asked why, and I replied, "To me, it's a few dollars. To them, it could be their job. I'm not willing to risk that."

As a Dasher who recently had to deal with one these kinds of customers myself, I got say these kinds of situations where you get hit with contract violation are very stressful. You can get terminated very quickly if you don't get it dealt with promptly.
So major props to this guy for being able to calmly confront that piece of shit without get too heated. 👏👏👏

Door dash is hella expensive. Turns a 8$ meal into a 20$ expense.
They make normal delivery look cheap
I’m not struggling with money at all but DoorDash is expensive lol they turn $12 meals into $40. It’s actually pretty ridiculous. I don’t really use DoorDash to have it delivered anymore for other reasons so I just use it for pickup now so it’s ready when I get to the restaurant. Pickup makes it significantly cheaper because you don’t have to give a tip and no delivery fees

The funniest thing about people like this that won't admit they did something bad is that, by making excuses, she is acknowledging that she KNOWS it was bad. She is trying to cover it up because she knows she did something wrong. There is no "I thought it wouldn't be a big deal" excuse anymore.

I got an order from DoorDash once. There were 2 items missing from it, and the sealing tags were still secure. So I contacted support to maybe get a partial refund or something... nope, full refund in credits. Full $27 refund back in credits for like $6.50 in missing food... I had to call back to make sure the driver wouldn't be in trouble cuz it was clearly a restaurant mistake. I hope I made a difference for that driver...
The cost of the meal is NOTHING compared to the cost of this scam for the driver.
The number of people she may have scammed and lost their jobs should start thinking about suing her.

Poor guy. She has probably done this before, but no one confronted her about it. The only time I ever complained to DD support was when a part of my order was missing. It was the soup from the soup noodles. They refunded me half the soup noodle price and I called the restaurant. The restaurant apologized and sent someone to deliver me the soup. I told DD to not scold the driver as it was the restaurants fault.
For this gal to still have a job after blatantly lying about something so small as a DD order, I'd be concerned about how many items have walked out the door with her. I'd also wonder how many meds went from the med cart to her hand to the actual patient.
Someone there needs to review a lot of surveillance tapes to ensure Miss Door Dash has not broken any commandments.
Imagine how her colleagues will look at her now.
This isn't a hack. This is a crime.
I work at Jersey Mikes, and with the amount of orders people supposedly don’t receive, I 100% believe this is a massive trend way too many people are doing. If you’re having to make the “it’s a big cooperation it’s not hurting an actual person” excuse, you’re most definitely doing something you shouldn’t be doing and it is 100% coming back onto someone else. Tik Tok really got some of yall believing stealing is okay😐The “maybe they’re stealing cause they need it” excuse very rarely applies. Cause when is it ever something, a person that’s desperately struggling, needs? Beyond shameful.
I'm a GrubHub delivery driver. I hate all these TikTok things. In the end it always screws over the person who needs it the most
“The more I get to know people, the more I love my dog and cat.” - Mark Twain
I had to open a bag of Baskin Robbins milkshakes because there was no drink carrier inside and I needed to keep them upright in my own drink caddy. I informed the customer what I was doing and why. Got to my destination and handed the rebagged order to the customer with the reiterated warning of no carrier inside. Shortly afterward, I received a complaint about a tampered package and also received no tip after what I had to do in order to deliver the package safely. There are some people who order food that are not only stupid, but are genuinely pieces of shit. These same people tend to look for any reason to not only stiff you on the tip, but to hurt your employment status. It's no mistake that these people get black listed fairly quickly by drivers that don't fall for the banana in the tailpipe. They normally don't include a tip beforehand, so drivers are already wary. Once they show their true colors, no one will respond to their address. Then, as if on cue, they start tip baiting. You will see like a $20 upfront tip from their address that they can subtract from their order within the hour after delivery. They really think we are stupid.
Update: Door Dash fired the driver for using abusive language & threatening a customer. What did she say? How could they not back this guy up? Screw Door Dash.

Something similar happened. I got my order, but I was missing an item. I asked the dasher. She told me that's all they had and told me tell Doordarshan support. I did contact them and told them I got everything, but the dasher told me they never gave her anything else. I told support not to punish the dasher. I got credited. But I hope the dasher didn't get fired.
Tbh if i was missing an item from my food I'ma just ignore it because i can't do that to the dasher
I mean they way you did about "don't punish the dasher" it's literally me thinking not to calk support if i have a item missing in my food chance are they can get fire or not even though you told them not to fire the dasher
Like the guys says in the video, getting your order wrong is different than not getting your order at all.
If the order is wrong the fault is on the restaurant. The deliveries are sealed so the delivery person can't confirm the order.
If the order was never delivered then the fault lies with the driver. (Or in this case a shitty customer)
@learyt9665 Honestly, the store i ordered from kinda had a crappy reputation with Doordash, so maybe they got dropped by them later on.
@@learyt9665 I'm not ignoring that nah, they charge so much extra for something that cost half irl
Sad to say even if you have absolute proof, usually Door dash takes the customers side. At best your put on leave for 2-3 weeks as they "investigate the issue". So even if you get your job back, you get no compensation for lost work due to the false claim. Honestly I'd say record every delivery these days. But as stated not sure even having proof would protect you.
Imagine putting your want for instant gratification over somebody's livelihood and all their future prospects. Unbelievably cruel and selfish.
The sad part is even if he proves she scammed him he probably still won’t get his job back something along the lines of liability, like even if he didn’t do it and proved it the false report is still a report it’s how a lot of places are
@@EpicAndrew97 I agree. Also, I wonder if this affected her job? Most people who steal anything are fired. I’d be really surprised if she still worked there.
Liability can only be placed on the employee if the company specifically says that the employee will be liable for it (and sometimes, depending on legal purposes even if an employee agreed to it a judge proceeding over a wrongful termination case can overturn the companies policy and still hold the company responsible)
These are the actions and situations that DoorDash holds it's employees liable for
-Low ratings from too many customers.
-delivery completion rate that falls below 80%.
-Failing checks for driving or criminal violations, which are conducted randomly by DoorDash.
-Indicating that a delivery is “complete” when it was not completed.
-High rate of late deliveries.
-Deliberately tampering with a customer’s order or handling food in an unsafe manner.
-Fraudulent use of the company’s referrals system or company promotions.
-Fraudulent use of your Red Card, such as using it to pay for thing others than a customer’s order.
-Scraping, copying, or retrieving data from the DoorDash platform or attempting to bypass security features in order to conduct such activities.
-Customer complaints of unsafe driving practices.
-Disclosing a customer or restaurant worker’s personal information without proper authorization.

I can so see her telling them it never arrived and smiling proudly while stuffing her face. It's pure greed. Greed and gluttony.
you know she is totally innocent when she has the same exact face kids make when you know they did something because you caught them but they still try to lie about it anyway
He cant call support and send them the video. He will be at further risk for confronting the scammer. There is no process to refute fraud. The only way doordash will examine evidence is if lawyers and a lawsuit is happening against them
Should lodge a complaint with hospital, things go missing constantly in certain health care units. Be interesting what she ordered.
I lost way too many braincells from the fact that she works at a hospital. How can anyone work at a hospital and be this ignorant?

all just speculation though, but if she had a wikipedia page I'd write that down on it.
she probably has a friend or family who got her the job. she doesn't look like she has skills
You must not have much life experience if you think hospital nurses are smart. Some nurse training programs let you start on-the-job training within 1 year.
Love the "pray more, worry less" shirt on someone who's willing to scam for free food.
As a Christian myself I see this alot with my faith. Deceivers are everywhere nowadays.
Oh she got to pray a lot because if she keeps up with that size it won't be long until Jesus sees her in the afterlife 🤔
That's when you call the cops and have her arrested for fraud in front of everyone at her work.
Another big reason most people don't' confront the scammer is far as I know Door Dash doesn't tell you who filed the claim against you. So if you make a lot of deliveries in a short period of time you have no idea who did it. Most these types of video's come from people who only do a few calls a day, usually on their lunch break or something for extra cash.
Nah I see why she needed the free food... she needed to keep buying weight scales.
She looks like she could have skipped dinner anyways.
New TikTok food hack: raid the fridge for your co-worker's lunches 😋
Clearly she's gotten her fair-share of free food

Imagine how privileged and horrid you have to be to be told "heres a hack! lie about food theft and pin false accusations of stealing on a delivery worker" and not think "that is absolutely evil and deranged". She doesn't see delivery drivers as people.
Door dash needs to make a policy of taking pictures of the order before giving it to the customer to prevent stuff like this.
It doesn’t look like she’s ever had food stolen from her ever. She looks like she steals other peoples food.
Bet she’s that one who steals others food in the company fridge!! Allegedly!!!
I mean, she looks like a person that would try every single food hack of every shape and form to get free food😂
I wonder how many complaints that hospital gets from patients about missing food from their plates
“Unplug your life support to charge her phone.” Savage!! 😁
I hope all the other delivery services bans/blacklists her as well just in case she tries to pull this crap on them. The hospital should have been like "Oh you didn't want to pay even though you got your food? Well we will dock your pay for the entire week even though you've worked the full 40+ hours".
I used to be a delivery driver for Jimmy John's and we were right next to a hospital. I was always so surprised that nurses rarely ever tip. I don't know why it's a thing, but it's totally a thing. Every 3 deliveries I'd get maybe a dollar tip. It was insane. I wasn't doing anything wild or looking scary lol. The look on this girl-child-thing's face, in the hospital setting, is exactly the same vibes I remember lol. Cold-blooded. Stingy. I'm not saying people have to tip. I think the whole practice is dumb, unless the service is incredible. But this was ONLY nurses lol. And almost EVERY TIME. Everyone else - at least $1-5 dollar tip on almost every delivery. Not hospitals. You'd assume the opposite, I guess, is my whole thing.
Idk why this is a thing, but the people I knew that became nurses at a hospital always seemed to think they're better than everyone. When my grandpa was in the hospital with lung cancer (rest in peace) there were awful nurses too. They yelled at him for sitting on his bed without a shirt when he was so sick he couldn't dress himself without help anymore and said to cover up because he was "disgusting and a pervert". They let him lie in his own urine for hours until my grandma came to visit and yelled at them. Idk why I get its a hard job but some nurses are real sadists I feel like
I get it but like they either have their reasons or just don’t wanna tip, it’s not bad, cause why should they tip u for doing ur job, ur already getting paid for that
Edit: I tip every time I’m just saying it shouldn’t be expected and you are not entitled to a tip unless you go above and beyond, tips should be something the person wants to do out of the kindness of their heart, not because you are a brat who thinks you deserve a tip because you work a low paying or minimum wage job. Don’t guilt trip someone into tipping you or paying your salary instead of getting your actual employer to pay you your salary.
@cosmicplanetastic most places pay drivers the bare minimum and expect them to cover there own gas for deliveries. Tipping a delivery driver is pretty important.
@@cosmicplanetastic you also are trusting them with your order and to get it there in good condition, you trust they aren’t messing with it in any way or smushing it, being fast ect, that’s why all the other people normally do.

this the same thing as saying “murder is a life hack to relieve stress”
Had this happen to me once, lady worked at a pharmacy and I confronted her about it, thankfully doordash support took down my contract violation, but I just got lucky. If you want to hack doordash don’t pin the reason on the dasher, you could literally just say your meal was wrong and they’ll refund you without penalizing the dasher. But I mean if you can’t afford to dash, then just pick it up yourself??
When customers do that DoorDash takes the money for the order that we just made away from us.
Then I can't make payroll or inventory because someone lied and said our food wasn't what they ordered.
Exactly saying it never arrived puts it all on one person who has to prove they didn't just eat or bin it, saying an item is missing chips or something puts it on the restaurant if the restaurant does 100 orders with doordash and they get 1 small complaint thats still a custormer satisfaction rate of 99% no way will doordash or other companies even mention it to the restaurant let alone any ramifications
@@beep5406 they do.

Always take a snap picture that also takes your address of location. Saved me several times in situations like this. It does happen!
She's going to have fun with everyone that comes up to that desk and recognizes her.
The biggest problem with these jobs is, the company ONLY takes the customers word for everything!!! They never ask for the worker's side of the story, they just immediately throw you under the bus!! The customer literally just presses a button to report stuff, without actually providing any evidence or most times just to make themselves feel better. I hate it, people are just trying to do honest work to pay bills and provide for their own families.
exactly; he should never confront a customer about an order, he did it to her cause shes weak unlike some other customers or the company itself. if the system can be exploited it will be, it's on doordash not it's customers
Right. But sometimes DoorDash does it because they know that they do mess up at times I can count the 5 times my order was messed up if you choose expedited delivery they focus on you but I had incidents with doordashers dropping my order off at the wrong address at the wrong house at the wrong place.
The penalty should be the same as if she went into the restaurant and stole it herself with maximum prejudice. What a scum bag human being. Not surprised.
She's clearly guilty. Ahhhh that old "shared account" excuse. That old total recall line always gets used, "i got 5 kids to feed" 😂 😂
Why has no one sent this video to her work and got her fired yet? The DoorDash driver was terminated, let’s get this sent to her boss immediately!!!
Her lack of Integrity may instigate her termination. Employers see actions like this as a gateway to future misdeeds. 😮
I would have made sure her manager knew what she did and ask the manager; Can you trust this employee after what she did? She did not care about taking his job, it's only fair he takes hers.
Not even smart enough to wait for a day they leave the door in a hallway or something 🙄🙄🙄
If she put in this same energy to get free food into the gym she’d be fit & healthy.
Nah getting free food isn't all that hard. Ye jus go to a window of a fastfood restaurant ye jus ordered from and say I'm missing something (I hate it when customers do this, some will scream at ye to get their stupid extra food). So end result, she'd still would be quite fat.
This definitely isn't the first time she's done this. This is just the first time she's been called out on it.
the way she was talking low to make sure no one else hears LMAO
I have worked with customer support before and even if he presents video or audio with the customer being confronted they will chew you out for doing that because its bad image to them to confront the customer, they will send you to HR and give you a write up or they can suspend or fire you. supposedly only the company itself can do the investigation but as mentioned on the video they rather fire you and get another delivery guy rather than go through the trouble.
whats worse is that it will go on his record that he steals stuff from the company and when looking for a new job that might just come up.
