Hey my Man Steffen ... Quick comment ... There was a mistake when you said that lebron score 25 points against Detroit ... That all good up to that point just that you said it was from 2004 and is actually from 2007 when Cleveland when to the NBA Finals against the San Antonio
The craziest thing about that Millsap clip is that he had only like 2 or 3 threes up until that point in his career: he matched his career threes in one minute
@@joshmcglaughlin4920 Yes, this is the match in basketball reference, before that he did 2 buckets in 3 years www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201011090MIA.html
The previous record of 33 points in a quarter was co-held by Carmelo and George Gervin. Gervin scored 33 in 1978 before the 3-point line was introduced which makes it even more impressive.
Gervin said this about Klay's quarter : "I'd like to see him try to get 33 or 37 in a quarter when there wasn't no three-point line.""[...] "I don't feel he broke my record. I feel he set a new record. He set a new record for the new NBA." [...] "In the system I played, my record will never be broken." So you could say that Klay's record is disputed :)
@Scratchin' Samurai that's circumstantial. Pick-up ball, yes. Most of the time, that's the case. In the nba, however, a layup or a dunk is literally the most efficient shot a player can take. Shooting threes on a high level requires significant skills.
@@ht-sd4je ye I'm saying it was impressive as hell but klay didnt even miss. No matter how much of a great shooter anyone is, scoring 37 in a quarter on perfect fg percentage is just straight up amazing.
Datu Amier Hussein E. Kutia I remember pulling out my phone and checking the score at first quarter and I was like at wtfff Kevin love about to get 50 easy. Then when I finish work the dum cunts didn’t even bother feeding him the ball or what? Fuck it’s the most disappointing record I rekn cos it had so much potential of being a much bigger record you know what I’m talking bout?
He was excessively unreliable at this point, we were so stocked to have a renown 3-pt threat coming off the bench, but he never delivered quality playing time for his minutes on the court.
When he rostered up, the Warriors already had a major number on their back. Teams were _gunning for the Dubs_ at that point. Almost all newcomers to that squad that were not already calibrated to play as a confident finals contender got spit roasted.
Klay Thompson's 60pts on only 11 dribbles was hella awesome as well. Dude was on fire the whole freaking game! AND he sat out the 4th quarter entirely!
That Paul Milsap game should be talked about more often. Those were some of Milsaps first threes of his career and he got 3 in clutch back to back possessions.
Maybe u cant be an all star/hall of fame, but u still can has ur moment in nba. Caspy prove that. Head to head with the greatest shooter of all time. I love this kind of moment 🥰
Kawhi against the Grizzlies in the 2017 playoffs was very similar to what Lebron did against the Pistons. The problem is that Conley and Gasol weren't having it
An additional detail in MT’s already amazing play is that after the winning shot, he snapped out of celebration mode and went defend Parker before half court, which helped guarantee the win.
I remember that before that Paul Millsap game, dude isn't even shooting 3. Then he did it in that game and then he become a star in Atlanta. Amazing how just 1 game skyrocket his career
wuddup brodie ✌ Yeah I took a long break to recharge. However this is actually my 4th video back. You can check out the other 3 on the channel. Peace out
The crazy thing about t macs sequence is that his team overall had 81 points that game. So one player in just the final 33 seconds scored over 16 percent of his teams points for that game
In the fight for NBA's seasons scoring title in 1978, and in the last game of the season David Thompson of Denver Nuggets scored 73 points in an attempt to win the title and beat Iceman Geprge Gervin who needed 53 points in his last game of the season to keep the title. Iceman got hot and put the 53 points in the first half 20 points first quarter and 33 in the second ending the game with 58 points to keep the title.
good job and thanks for that strange you did't insert Reggie Miller's 8 points in 9 seconds ...... that may be the most impressive of all, included Tracy and Klay cheers from Italy thomas
Heat Check community is by far the best on TH-cam. Great to have you back Stefan

Ben Simmons cant even 2 threes and millsap won the game for them
I was at that game on my first vacation from Australia.
The previous record of 33 points in a quarter was co-held by Carmelo and George Gervin. Gervin scored 33 in 1978 before the 3-point line was introduced which makes it even more impressive.

TidusPG3D I think NBA is not more competive back in his time compared today.
@@sauliussimcikas7538 it's also harder to shoot from a distance. Gervin's shot were all inside the 3 line (though there wasn't a line back then).
@Scratchin' Samurai but hes playing against plumber tho
@Scratchin' Samurai that's circumstantial. Pick-up ball, yes. Most of the time, that's the case. In the nba, however, a layup or a dunk is literally the most efficient shot a player can take. Shooting threes on a high level requires significant skills.
Kevin love also scored 34 in a quarter. Pretty impressive but not as much as klay's.
I feel like his 34 points in a quarter is vastly underrated especially because he isn't even close to Klay's level as a shooter
And he did that in the 1st quarter
@@ht-sd4je ye I'm saying it was impressive as hell but klay didnt even miss. No matter how much of a great shooter anyone is, scoring 37 in a quarter on perfect fg percentage is just straight up amazing.

Tracy Mcgradys 13 points is even more impresive considering his team "only" scored 81 in total
Yeah T-Mac scored almost 1/6th if the Rockets points in 35 seconds.
That's why Jeff van Gundy still furious at the locker room after that match
Wym “only”? That’s a low offensive output.
@@PokeTyranno58 yes, but for the time period and facing the Spurs it's not THAT low
trispy cream facing prime Spurs? One of the best defensive teams ever? 81 was like above average

This one!
Did anyone else notice he said 2004 instead of 2007 I'm pretty sure pistons won in 04
yeah...i got the years mixed up
Even says 2007 in the score box
They won it '04 because of Darko Milicic. First of the Top 5 '03 draft picks to win a chip. Game Changer, No one like him ever
I love when Dominique says, “let’s make that 4 in a row, let’s get it” @2:28

How about kevin love who scored 34 points in first quarter thats amazing too
Reggie Miller
When the warriors got caspi I thought its splash fam but they didn't let him play much and got unsigned
loll imagine steph klay casspi kd and boogie all standing on the 3 line and u can't double team anyone lmaoo

When I saw that Kyle Korver clip it made me smile. Finally getting some respect. One of the most underrated players ever
What makes Millsap’s game even more incredible is that I think he only hit one 3 in his career before that game and he suddenly went off
