I went to that site and my tour guide told me the story. Poor polish people who were the victims of a genocide by the nazis with one goal in mind - to eliminate the polish people. Fortunately for the Jews, over 5 million of them have gotten compensation from the German government who were oddly never touched by the nazis. Thank you so much nicely done video. My prayers are with the families that survive them today and the very few that are still alive today that lived through this you are such a blessing to this world and such a strong person and a true Survivor.
You did a great job with this video, the weight of all those souls just despatched as though they were nothing is felt. You managed to convey at least some of the horrors committed here at these camps. I suspect we cannot imagine the full horror, no matter how much detail we see. Thank you for making this.
I've watched a lot of documentaries over the years about Auschwitz, but never one that gave such a detailed narrative and humanised those that suffered. Seeing the photographs of those who most definitely perished was heartbreaking. I wasn't aware that they took photos but then changed this to tattooing the victims instead. I also wasn't aware that Höss was hanged here. Thank you, Ivain, for such a beautiful and sympathetic piece of work, I pray the world never forgets. 🙏🏼 🙏🏼💔
I visited one of the camps a few years ago and it was the saddest and most emotional place I have ever been to. It breaks my heart hearing people talk as if this was just a storu that never happened. You did a very good job bringing this difficult story to us.
Very sad... The volumes of Ken Burns`s coverage of all this should be a mandatory watch in our schools. All actual video footage. It`s called " The World at War " You will never forget it.
I haven't chosen to watch any videos about Auschwitz but another one showed up on my feed this morning after a video i had been watching finished and i hadn't turned off my phone. I expect that's why this one has appeared this afternoon. Your presentation was a lot more respectful than the one I saw this morning, he filmed in places he admitted he wasn't allowed to go but wanted to show us 'everything' including inside the toilet block where he slipped on mud. He also suggested that the piles of bricks from chimneys that had collapsed could be picked up and taken as souvenirs if anyone was inclined. He certainly didn't have the respect and concern for the people who died there that you have shown
Very well done baby, and very well worded. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much for all of the true respect that you show towards all of these victims of the Holocaust!
I have seen hundreds of videos on the Holocaust and Aushwitz, but yours is by far the most heartfelt one I have seen. You did an incredible job telling the story of what happened on those grounds. The compassion and respect you have for the souls that entered those gates and what they had to endure is very evident in your voice. Thank you for sharing this video. It is so important to make sure that horrific part of history is never forgotten.
When I was in school for our history classes we watched real videos that were taken of the camps and I remember like yesterday, I understand that they don't show these films to today's kids I don't think they could handle it but we can never forget.
ivain l whole heartedly commend you on this compassionate and thought provoking video. Thank you for showing the world what we should never forget and that we should remember all the tortured souls who were pawns in this atrocious chapter of history.
Thank you, thank you for making this video. Many of us have not learned from our history. Many need to hear your message. I was very impressed with the narration as well as the photography.
Ivain, such a sensitive and compassionate video - Thank you I am visiting Europe next year and your video has convinced me that visiting Auschwitz is an important trip I need to make Beautifully made video for such a tragic, sad and despairing part of our history
I had a friend on the department that went to Europe. He's a very pragmatic guy and not given to spiritual speculation but when he talked about Auschwitz and Dachau, "Those are some haunted sons of bitches." It really impacted him.
Yeh. I can imagine there must be so many souls trapped there haunting the place. I do not think I could bear it. Hurts my soul just hearing about it. So seeing it in real life would be over-bearing for me.
Thank you for the video and for telling what you saw and reminding the world that this cannot ever happen again to any one regardless of race, gender, religion or creed.
I have been to the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. The shear enormity and cruelty I experienced there cannot begin to compare which what you must have experienced there! I have known and seen others who lived through this hell on earth. I was young and obviously did not understand everything until I was much older, but I was told to remember things I saw as a youngster. As I have grown older and learned history, these memories have left a deep impression on me, that has only deepened with age.
@@david-spliso1928 Regardless of that? How can you disregard that after such horrific claims proven to be lies? German people need to know the truth, that the real monsters were the Bolshevik Jews killing over 60 Million ethnic Russians.

Thank you for your reverence, for giving dignity to the victims instead of focusing on the murderous animals who took their lives. And also your patience in educating the brainless who don't understand where they are.
You are to be commended for your thoughtful presentation and guided tour. I know it was not easy on you to do this. As a boy I lived near the only concentration camp in France (Natzweiler) in eastern France. My family frequented the premises quite a bit in the mid 1960's. I was a preteen lad when I went. And it touched me then, to the point that my mind is seared by the images and the buildings and the layout of the camp. I can well imagine how this impacted you. Again, thank you for this and your very thoughtful presentation. I will be posting the link to your video.
Nicely done sir. I hope people watch this and hear your message of warning about history repeating itself. I truly believe we are on the tipping point.

This is the saddest and most sincere video I've ever seen. I'm speechless...
Thanks a lot for watching!
You did a great job with this video, the weight of all those souls just despatched as though they were nothing is felt. You managed to convey at least some of the horrors committed here at these camps. I suspect we cannot imagine the full horror, no matter how much detail we see. Thank you for making this.
Thanks a lot for watching! I agree with what you said. Thanks a lot for your time!

And it all took place within a lifespan ago of an average man. Thanks for presenting this.
He certainly didn't have the respect and concern for the people who died there that you have shown
That’s too bad to hear. Thanks a lot for watching this video. I truly appreciate that. May their soul rest in peace.

Thanks a lot for watching! Enjoy your European trip.

With the Palestinians there is no genocide. They are intending a genocide. Read the charta of Hamas on wikipedia.
