I’m a Cameroonian, who was just recently in Senegal (a week ago). I had an amazing time!!!! I was also impressed with the beautiful smooth roads & huge architecture. The hospitality was superb! The energy of Senegal was peaceful. I will be back inshaAllah
Believe me, I have been thinking about it for years. I just don't know why people don't invest in those fileds. There are so many possibilities. We just don't see and dream big, that is the fundamental difference between us and US.They see big and they dream big. There are so many possibilities for investment.ANd it would help resolve the unemployment etc....In Africa we don't focus often on priorities.Thank you showing Senegal, I am myself rediscovering the country, and I am sorry to say it but it shows that a lot of work have been done these last years.I am just a dumb guy but I have been saying it for years that the goverment need to lower very much the taxes of foreign investors to attract them and even have them partnered with senegalese investors that itself could boost the economy given of course that we don't have electricity issues which can be resolved too.We just pass our time arguying about politics rather than briging ideas to resolve issues and find nsolutions.....
What are you talking about? The taxes for foreign investors were lowest possible. As a senegalease tax inspector, I say enough is enough, ok. We fought hardly these past years, to get back our country in our hands . Lot of young senegalease past away during our revolution . Therefore no one will again fool our people . We are deeply against fake investors, and amore then committed to kick defnitly out of country western impérialism. We are not slave people, enough smart people, very aware of what we are intoabd where will are moving for. We are a sovereign country, and we 'll increase taxes for foreign investors. Sénégal first ! We lost a lot with liberalism ok, and none these western guys , so ready to steal our ressources , here in Sénégal! We are not beggers, and get into our true rules . Usa will never be our patern. Here is Cheikh Anta Diop country, we get our own brend, local and deeply african way of doing things. Deeply into what we are . No one will becn allowed to lecture us. No way!!! Sénégal Reek, Africa kesseh.
❤❤❤ Thank you my brother Sénégal means in Wolof language " SUNU GAL " in english " Our Boat " or " Our Canoe " . So for the boat to move forward well we all have to row in the same direction. I love my contry ❤❤. Life is not easy everywhere in Africa for historical reasons, slavery, colonization and Europe, the West which continues in a viscious way to despoil Africa even today. But with little, the Senegalese are very humble, human, discreet, respectful, smart and hardworking at home in Senegal and on all continents of the world which explains their open-mindedness even if they are very ingrained in their predominantly Muslim religion and culture. The Senegalese Diaspora transfers more than 3 billion dollars per year to their country and is 3rd behind Nigeria and Ghana among the most populous countries. As they say in Senegal, work a lot and speak little out of supertition because success or money is like birds, if you make too much noise, success will fly away like timid birds..
