    American skylines 2021.
Be sure to watch part 1 first: • Cities with Most Skysc...
USA is the birthplace of the skyscraper. North America is the continent with the 2nd largest number of skyscrapers in the world! Cities like New York and Chicago were the first cities in the world with skyscrapers and almost all fairly large American cities have a decent skyline. There are also lots of skyscrapers in Canada and Mexico. Ever since the early 20th century most skyscrapers were built in North America, but the continent has lost the skyscraper race to Asia recently. The tallest buildings in the world were all in the USA, like Empire State Bldg, the old World Trade Center and Sears Tower, until Malaysia took the title thanks to the spires of the Petronas Towers. However, Sears Tower still had the title of the world’s tallest building to the roof until Taipei 101 was completed in 2004. Even though there are no megatalls under construction in North America, cities like New York, Miami and Toronto are still building many new skyscrapers.

    2.Canada: 146
    3.Panama: 69

Really cool video, although there are a few things I want to point out. The Sears Tower (Willis Tower) is no longer the second tallest building in the US, it has been beat by the Central Park Tower which now has the tallest roof height in the Western Hemisphere. Also, Miami has the third most skyscrapers in America, but not the third tallest like you mentioned. The third "tallest" city in the US is Philadelphia in terms of the number of buildings over 800 ft. It's interesting too because in the near future, Philly is going to become pretty close in cityscape height to Chicago and Toronto with a lot of new groundbreaking developments coming within the next 10 years, so it's only going to get taller.

I’ve been to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, I love all those cities for their unique culture and energy they bring. I can honestly say I’m so proud of Toronto for its exponential growth. It’s the loner metropolis when compared to American cities that can help eachother inside their borders. And it seems to be still sky rocketing 😲

This video is not about which city has the tallest buildings, it is about cities with largest number of skyscrapers (most skyscrapers). About Mexico, there are more skyscrapers in Mexico City then in Monterrey so that is why it was included. There are many important cities that couldn't be featured in this video, because it would be way too long so I included the 6 cities with most skyscrapers plus some other cities with many tall buildings in the end.
