I was playing CoOp last night, and we got invaded. We finished up the mission, and my friend went "Oh, Who's Thermidor? They're in our party -- oh, they're gone."
And I realized that if we were a little bit slower, we may have been shredded with Thermidor as our Invader.
Thermidor's stare of death was too good.
Fighting Thermidor is always fun, kiting with a shield feels like a 50/50 at best versus him.

Ive beeen playing ac6 my way for a while ,and after seeing the crazy piloting during this fight,im wondering how can i replicate that? Anyone has advice on how to maneuver during AB that swiftly?

The one time I went against Thermidor in ranked he annihilated me and 2-0 me. Needless to say, he is one of the great players and I was honored to lose to him!

The combo potential and sheer damage output is insane. That final Zimm into coral blade, Assault armor, into Zimm into pulse blade was such a crazy way to end it. Melee is so cool in this game.
6:33 it’s times like this when the devs need to add emotes to the game so he could have faced the camera and did the folded arm GunBuster stance to show his superiority.

Shield brings more worth than a strong punish imo, because drones can act as both a ratting tool and a punish. Ducketts can just barely do enough damage on their own, so my build relies on winning the DPS race. Not running shield is too risky, because a MW would have trouble both winning the stagger war and dodging in many matchups

This match was really fun. We still have people in the community that want shields even further nerfed and unused like the coral one now for some reason. Shame people just can’t admit their biases
The PS shield is the only shield needing nerfs (specifically to its heat deploy stat, to reduce it to 2+1 deploys from its current 5+1)
Keep in mind, in this match the opponent didnt do a good job parrying despite the super generous 0.6s IG. Most of the blocks were non IG. If IG blocked, the coral blade and the charged pulse blade only do about 250 and 300 accumulative impact build up respectively. It would take 6 or 7 lunges to stagger not including the zimmerman.
But ultimately youre gonna get staggered by most builds by the time youve done 2 approaches with 2 lunges in each approach and have traded about half your hp, allowing impact to reset.
not tryna seem like a hater but this is very basic melee build not seeing anything that sets Thermador apart from Mood or glorious geo.. love how this channel throws "the best in the world around often" for they fighters 1st time hearing about this pilot but the build is the meta melee build not unique really lol
I agree I wanna see someone use the melee combo I use which is the plasma thrower & explosive thrower mixed wit one of the blades
Moods build is more Honest than Therms. Therms build is a brain dead build. The stagger potential and range on melee is broken. Unless you have reverse joint and time it right on the dodge on the ground you will get hit no matter what.
That "no matter what" aspect is not a fair match.
If I get a hit 100% of the time that is not a fair game.
But that's not Therms fault. That's the game's fault.
I prefer Vika’s bunk clips honestly more creative with more risk to reward.
Therms melee build is normal, though it does have the timings down and takes his opportunities.
