Thats ultimately what is broken with the stun baton (windup animation on charged, and thruat speed even with kikaku on both light and charged, is too slow)

everyone's running ocellus FCS right now. helps with the melee punishes and still functional for missiles. most likely santai generator, and can see alula boosters here (tho kikaku or gridwalker are worth considering for this type of build for melee cancels). zimmy's not always optimal here, b/c of the barrel length dropping from some baton follow-up's, but does have a higher dmg on kick combo. i was just labbing Seikora's build and liked it more with haldeman and direct plasma missiles (from direct 4); YMMV
@@1nfinitezer0 makes sense to assume ocellus/san-tai, I usually do anyways. I have a hard time seeing the booster tbh but I’m also watching on phone. Haldeman/PM is a great combo though. I usually like the haldeman more on builds going for sustained close up damage with the faster reload and absurd impact/accumulative impact ratio, but getting screwed onnthe zims size is pretty frustrating when it pops up Edit: i gotta try gridwalker on a melee build at some point, still haven’t yet

It's insane the skill required to play like this as opposed to loading a tank with laser cannons or bazookas yet you get totally punished for excellent mechanics because getting that close is so risky.
@@HelloSquiggles heavys need even more nerfs. I think that fromsoft needs to limit their weight capacity, so you can't fully load them with the heaviest weapons in the game without that much of a penalty.

Charged baton attacks are fine, and the combo attack is for beating staggered people senseless (except for heavy tanks, who currently can sometimes ignore melee weapon stun and proceed to stomp you, henceforth why I don’t use laser slicer in ranked PVP). Swords like the pulse blade are more optimal, but sometimes you just wanna style on someone and be extra, in which case go crazy with the baton.

3:20 It is a latency thing. The reason why the stun baton doesn't stick on a hit has nothing to do with the hit boxes. It has everything to do with where the opponent ACTUALLY is. What you are seeing is what the server is telling you, which had already happened at least less than a second ago. That includes when they got staggered, when they were at a location, and when they tried to attack you. Missiles are not subject to this, hence why they are one of the most reliable weapons in the game currently. This is why the chainsaw doesn't work. It doesn't work cuz the opponent isn't there when the server said he got hit. Because he got hit, he will be stunned even though he takes no damage because he is not in the chainsaw's hit box. The stun baton's sticky bomb doesn't work cuz the opponent isn't there when the server said he got hit. It is also why that weuger hit from so far away. Scholar13 was closer to Seikora that he appeared to be. You can't see it because that's how fucked the latency and netcode is.

The charged stun baton can only be used (and is only needed) against high AP/low reovery time opponents 👍 otherwise just take the repeat light combo again like the dagger. Otherwise they can recover fast enough to qb/deploy shield
I'm in A-Rank Singles and I really haven't encountered that many or that bad of a connection on enemies like I see others experience. NA West on PS5, Global matchmaking, decent wired connection. I wonder what it is that makes things so different for people, I usually see bad examples of it from people on PC. To me, I felt like they did fix the net code with this update because I've been able to actually dodge so many things I almost never could beforehand, like Reverse Joint kicks.
@@TGM-Videos no, the netcode issues are especially prominent on Xbox too. Playing with a wired connection against laser builds in current AC6 is genuinely unfun.
I see these types of comments constantly but I’ve played Elden ring pvp and 70 hours of AC6 pvp and rarely experienced these problems to the degree to which the community complains about them.

Cool thing about Weurger and stun baton is that their charged attacks both have the spinning drill animation, which further links their build designs.

AC6 is my first Armored Core game,. Stun Baton/Therapist somehow made the game 1000x more fun for me.,
