Its hard to believe that you are actually going through tunnels and a section of track that was once double line all the way. To a person who sees this and does not know the Bendigo line, then I am sure they would be hard pressed to believe it was all double track. Ahh Progress and moving forward what can one say.. Cool video too by the way.
Hard to believe there were once double tracks through those tunnels.
Awesome video, sounds like the loco’s were really almost at there limit. I’d love to hear one from the engine room, the sound is spectacular.
Awesome stuff mate, good to see someone else putting cab vids up!! :)
Sweet EMD 16-645E3 sounds. And a nice P5 as well :)
Nice work Dan, great sound effects!
I enjoyed this video so much that it seemed really short.
Great work Dan
love it 100 out 100
I take it there was a G behind that XR

all my life I have wanted to become a train driver... No trainee jobs going :( Bummer!
Like eskargot train.
These locos dont have guages for engine temp, only hot engine shut down, but a short tunnel like the ones in this video wouldnt cause much issues.
Great video what sort of loco were you in.
at 0:18 it mentions "XR552" - which notes that they were in a XR-class, loco number 552.
