I remember I watched this when I was 11 on TV by mistake and I had no idea who they were or what the song was but I liked it and I remembered them for years as "that band with the read haired singer" and I was trying to find their name for years
First of all Gerad and red hair never goes wrong together. He looks damnnn handsome!!! And the guitar solo... MANNN AMAZING!!! I wish they would show his screentime more during his solo He could have been jamming his heart out and we may have missed such moments
That had to have been one of the best performances I've ever been graced with seeing live! They were a gazillion times as good as when i saw them at Wembley and all the boys were so excited grinning at each other~! It was adorable~
people who went to reading 2011 had one of the best weekends of their lives. mcr with an epic set on friday night, and muse with origin of symmetry 10th anniversary on sunday night, then more bangers as the rest of the set. id KILL to be front row for that weekend
I waited 8 years and then a further 9 hours down front just to see these guys, after that final half hour wait between 30stm and mcr, when that screen came on and those guitars started playing...well I still get goosebumps watching this!

I'm going to Reading & Leeds this summer so I decided to google all of the announced bands. First image was the 2011 set (no idea why), for abt 5-10 seconds I was so hyped, screaming and stuff but then I remembered MCR broke up AND NOW I CANT STOP CRYING OH GOD WHY
These guys... Gosh, there are no words to explain how much I admire them. Many people are saying they didn't like much the Danger Days CD and stuff, and I really don't see why... They put all of their effort in it and are so proud of it. They're really into what they do and they felt like this CD was the best thing they've done so far. Some people shouldn't be so.. selfish. Maybe you'd like more "Black Parade" or "Revenge" or "Bullets", but seriously.. You cannot satisfy everyone in this world.
god i cant beleive how great it would have been to have seen them there. but i CANT IMAGINE what its like to be them, on stage, playing for thousands! MCR you are my inspiration
before they performed at reading i thought MCR were just some emo band with less than average music, then i saw them at reading. They're now one of my favourite bands and if anyone ever calls me emo for listening to them i just show them this performance
I was there, and when the bli face came up a guy (who told me was an old fan) asked me what it was, then he and another guy spent the whole show going 'play tbp play tbp!' and when they started playing it, i turned around and smiled at them. they smiled back, the atmosphere was amazing, everyone was so nice to each other, sharing drinks, helping eachother up, and when a guy who was trying to get his foot outta the mud (it was sticky as hell) flew forwards and head butted me he was really sorry
This song is what made me like MCR at the the age of 26. Fallen in love with their music so much this year. Wish I'd discovered when I was a lot younger
im from finland so I didn't have a very good chanche beeing there, but couple of my friends was there. they said it was the best concert they have ever beeing in. :) They were also in Leeds festival. :) I'm so jealous to them.
i hate it when people hate on these guys! i was here and the crowd would boo every time a band mentioned 'MCR ARE ON LATER TONIGHT, WHO'S EXCITED?' and it made me really sad. however, as soon as these guys walked on stage the audience loved it and it was one of the best performances of the whole weekend barring muse, enter shikari and 30 seconds to mars. they were absolutely amazing.
It doesn't really matter though. You are a part of an awesome fan base and BEST band ever. It doesn't matter what everyone's into, as long as you do what you want to. That's what MCR has been teaching us.
Jared is actually perfect live, and it doesn't translate well onto live recordings. Jared knows how to give his audience a really fuckin' great time, and he gives everything he's got at 30STM live performances, 110% every single time. Jumping into the crowd isn't easy or safe for him. I'm not saying MCR don't give their audience everything they've got, because they do. I'm a huge fan of both, but don't go bashing on Mars because they really care about their fans having a great time at concerts.
