    Great video. I just bought a Santa Fe in Ontario. I pick it up tomorrow. My concensus was the exact same as yours, however, I want the hardtop roof becuase I plan to use the roof rack frequently and I was told by the dealership that they will not install a roof rack over their panoramic sunroofs.
    This is a perfect whip and definetly the trim level for me.
    Thanks again for the great walk around!

      You can install roof racks over the panoramic. There are brands that don't allow that, but Hyundai does. I think dealers are cautious because they've seen issues with people breaking glass. Either way, it can be done. But great choice! These are great SUV's.

    Thanks Peter, for that awesome review 😄 I’m in Newfoundland and I used to watch you on the Kia Hyundai channel and found you very informative there as well. You helped me choose my Santa Fe Urban (Hampton Grey), which I picked up in January. I’m loving the vehicle so far, quite a bit more power than my previous car, great for passing and fun to drive. I didn’t know that you could toggle all those options on the split screen in the infotainment system and I’m excited to try that during the next drive. When I saw you had a new video about the Urban I had to watch because I knew I would learn something new and you did not disappoint.

    I’m very much looking forward to collecting my PHEV on Thursday (in the UK). I might send you some photos…..
    In the right hand drive market (UK and Australia as far as I can see) we have this with 7 seats, and no underfloor space in the rear.
    I think this is because this (and the Sorento) are the largest RHD they market.
    Mine is the ‘premium’ trim (lower trim without sunroof) as I didn’t want to lose the headroom with the ‘Ultimate’ trim.

    It is odd to me that the Santa Fes don't have the live speed limit sign camera and associated offsets, while the Tucson does.

      Hyundai is interesting. They introduced that on the latest Tucson which was a fully redesigned vehicle. This on has only had a refresh, and not a full redesign since that tech made it to market, and it seems that sometimes Hyundai waits to put some tech into vehicles until they go through the entire redesign. The same thing happened to the Palisade. The Lane Keeping Assist system was on that, but they didn't bring in the Lane Follow Assist until the new model was introduced. To me, it seems like they could have brought that in earlier.

    Thanks for your video, Peter! Rolling comfort and silent is a prime criteria riding on Quebec roads. Do you recommend this trim on that basis. The feature comfort: is it worthwhile, how does it impact suspension? Does another vehicle in that class better on that ? Thanks for advice.

      I really love the ride of this model of Santa Fe (my 2022 Santa Cruz was exceptional for the class) so I'm not sure if there's something better... Every person's opinion will differ, but I'd happily recommend this vehicle for what you're describing.

      @@PeterLoweOne Thanks. Do you know how the "comfort mode" acts?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@yvesn58 it's just a drive mode that dulls the throttle from Sport and makes it more reactive than Eco. It may also effect the firmness of the steering.

      @@PeterLoweOne In other words, no change to the suspension?

      @@yvesn58 these don't have electronically controlled suspension, so they can't adapt at the push of a button.
