She's never used cornstarch before? You mix the cornstarch with a tiny bit of water to make a thick, well-combined paste and THEN you add it to the rest of the liquid. This assures you don't get clumps.
I notice that when she pulls the lids off she actually has to pull them off. My lids do not seem to stay down. I make sure the vent is up every time. So what is the problem with my dishes????
