WǔLáng Staff Form 七星螳螂拳五郎棍 (套路)

There is a legend about the defeat of the Yang in the Song Dynasty, a warrior's flight to 五臺山 Wǔtái Shān, and upon becoming a Buddhist monk his spear was switched for a staff. The WǔLáng Staff Form encapsulates the essential movements of this style of staff-fighting. It is notable for being matched gripped and eye-brow height. Follow along and learn this version of the WǔLáng Staff Form! There are other variations that differ slightly, but this is the one I learned.
