I very much enjoyed this podcast. Loved the trips to the yarn shops and seeing your purchases. That sparkle thread is fabulous - I remember a very long time ago (probably about 1974!) making a little sparkly gold top with something similar. I'm looking forward to watching when you are knitting the Knitting for Olive tops and also anything about your smallholding.
@@karenwhite2601 thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for your kind comments 🤗 I love knitting with Sparkly yarns. I’ve recently been thinking about what I’m going to knit with this silver one 😀 I’ll be uploading a video soon about my small holding and I have another video where I talk about making the Knitting for Olive Puff Tee 🧶
@@aggierowe9574 thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for your lovely comments 🤗 I have another video where I document knitting the KFO puff sleeve top 😃
You encouraged me to order a tote bag that I have wanted for a while. Good luck with the sheep I shall be really interested in watching your progress. Thanks for talking about budgets too - not many podcasters do :)
@@craftynia1077 thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for your kind comments 🤗 I have set up an Instagram page called @smallflockyarnsuk as I recently found out that I can have their fleeces spun into hand knitting wool which is very exciting 😃 I am keeping regular updates on there on my little flock. I’ll also be doing a little video on TH-cam about my small holding soon 🐑🐑🐑
Glad you had fun in my city, buying yarns. I am a crocheter but I buy online cos there are no shops near me. Pimlico is a bit of distance for me, maybe one day.

Lovely to come along virtual shopping with you Natalie and seeing what you bought. Lots of great projects in the making there, look forward to seeing them in the future!
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for your comment 🤗 Yes I do visit them too. I bought some yarn in English Yarns in Shoreham last week and some yarn in YAK in June as I made a vintage beret for a friend’s birthday. I plan to visit Ida’s House in Lewes soon which is quite a new shop that I’ve not yet visited. Would you like to see some videos of me visiting these yarn shops?
I don’t knit, but have recently (last five years) been indulging my love of textiles by taking up headwrapping, selecting and purchasing scarves. Those colors you selected are lovely! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience here. I learn so much from listening to, and not just watching, talented women artists like yourself. ❤from this GenX Adult Human Female in northern California!

Hello, I'm new to your channel and a relatively new TH-camr. Like you I have recently knitted with yarn from Knitting for Olive for the first time. I have knit the Late Summer Wrap, using the merino and silk mohair. When you have done the swatch for your merino and mohair, you might be interested to know that Knitting for Olive do free worldwide shipping on your first order. It is so much cheaper, even when you have paid the tax to purchase direct from them. I really like all of your purchases, I need a trip to London to do a yarn pilgrimage soon! How cute to have your own flock of sheep! I think that will be a really lovely thing to document on your channel
Thank you for the information that’s really good to know 😃 I didn’t even think to look at purchasing on their online shop as didn’t realise about their postage offer. I’m going to be uploading a new video this week about the Knitting for Olive Puff Tee I recently knitted and what I thought of it and how it looks knitted etc 🤗
