One of the best videos I have watched. You don’t talk over one another. You video stream is not too fast or slow. The food comments are appreciated. One detail you may want to include is some input on the menus and/or a still shot of the menu itself. What did you like or dislike. Otherwise, great job!
We have yet to sail on Princess. Certainly a cruise line we need to get on. This dining guide provides a lot of information, thanks for providing such incredible detail!
That sounds like a fun cruise itinerary. For dining options there is Horizon court buffet, the main dining rooms (Allegra, Concerto & Symphony), room service, Alfredo’s pizza, international cafe, ocean terrace seafood bar (extra $), princess live cafe, wheel house bar and crown grill (extra $), gelato (extra $), trident grill, Prego pizzeria, swirls, outrigger bar, and Sabatinis (extra $). Lots of food to try and enjoy.
Great video guys! Very helpful. Sailing on Royal Princess in July to Alaska! First Princess Cruise. Question. If you book specialty dining before hand, which I did, what happens if you need to cancel?
You can cancel pretty well any time without penalty, they'll just give the table to people waiting who didn't have reservations. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching & commenting!
Club class is a section within the Main Dining Room that is set to "club class" guests. They have things like chief specials, etc... Its like a slightly elevated main dining option. Hope that helps!
Not sure when recorded. But. Chef table worth it it was $110 in 2019 but it included wine pairing and a cocktail with dessert. In 2019 only offered 2 formal nights
With anytime dining we did not have to. They asked if we wanted to be alone or with a group. Only one night it was too busy to sit alone and we had to sit with a group
@@TravelingFlamingo Thanks...we cruised with Princess 3 years ago and we were always asked to share tables. I would imagine when the full capacity returns, it will likely be the same....
yes they give 1st priority to higher status but I was only gold then and it was my birthday the day of the Chef Table so we got it worth every sent will try again when I am at platium on my Maple Leaf Explorer sept 22
Thanks for this episode. As we think back on out three (so far) Princess cruises (1 Crown and 2 Royal) we have to say that we also loved the afternoon tea . Alfredo's was amazing and the International Cafe was great (loved the sandwiches and deserts there). We did the Crown Grill twice as well as Sabatini's twice on the Royal. Absolutely great. Just about every other included food venue was top notch and can only hope that our over Easter Sky Princess voyage happens, even if modified ! 🙏👍👍👍🌞😎
Food is one of those "highly dependant" things but I'd say over all princess is about the same or a notch above (from an North American perspective), I'd argue their buffet is probably on par but the speciality restaurants really add a bit more value to it (however you do pay for that). So Buffet, same, speciality I'd give it to princess overall. Hope that helps, happy and safe travels Michael! 🦩
I really have enjoyed my cruising on Princess. I started in 1998 on the Sun Princess when I cruised Alaska. In 1998 the food was excellent. I have to use a patch to avoid sea sickness. Sadly, the hamburgers at the pool have been keeping me alive for the last few cruises - until this time on the Sky Princess. I don't know if it is Halal meat or some spice that makes the burgers taste like ass, or a foreigner's taste for ass that has prompted the change in the hamburgers. It is long over due, Princess needs to offer a meal package with real food that people want to eat. They need to realize people want to eat beef on the ship and the hamburgers need to cost me $20.00 per burger. The steak in the dining room was horrible. The potatoes were not eatable on all occasions of the cruise. I think I will not be cruising on Princess in the future. The steak in the Crown Grill was excellent. However, a meal in the Crown needs to be orderable as room service so once can get a decent steak - not a boil tripe as I received from room service.
A very helpful video with lots of useful suggestions, not just a camera walk through. Thanks you 2.
We are so glad you liked it. Happy travels 🦩

Chefs table well and truly worth it, You would want to go hungry as it is 10 course meal.
Looks great we'll definitely try it next time we can sail on Princess! Thanks for watching & the comment Janice!

I have to wait until my passport application stops wandering all forlorn around the state dept. - hopefully in about a week and a half. Lol

What other activities are there on our cruise to Central America and the Caribbean, who will take our picture

do u usually have to share a table in the main dining room with anytime dining option?
With anytime dining we did not have to. They asked if we wanted to be alone or with a group. Only one night it was too busy to sit alone and we had to sit with a group

That is so exciting you got to do the Chef Table and on your birthday! 🎉 One day we will get there
Didn’t mention. Pub Lunch on one of the sea days. Delicious
That is so true! We didn’t get a chance to pop in but hopefully next time.
@@TravelingFlamingo please do and the beer prices are great and nice variety and of course if you have pkg it would be included

I've tried anytime dining it was very unorganized I was asked if I would like more coffee my cup never filled first time
Oh wow that is not great service at all. There is definitely some benefit in having the same server every night
How is the food compared to celebrity? I enjoyed the celebrity cruises but thought food was average

do you provide corona beer?
Carona beer is ironically the main beer sold on princess cruise ships. I noted when I did a cruise with them in November 2018.
I think this info is very outdated. Princess has made LOTS of changes since.
a princess cruise? What are they serving? The Coronavirus?
What's it to you and what do you care?
@@applelake5940 I care that they are not spreading the virus even further.
@@alantse7464 Clearly you are very ignorant of how Princess Cruises cares for the well being of both their passenger guests and their staff.
