My wacky-ass- self has been playing this 'kooky -Cobain classic' /'Nicely-Nostalgic Nirvana Banger' (if you will)totally&😮completely wrong for the last 20 years (albeit, well intentioned, and very early on in my strumming years! Figuring out my favorite song from In Utero totally by ear was quite the challenging prospect & tall-Order way back then, for my '6-$t®@NG-§truMMiNG teenage self). In retrospect, even tho my determination to decipher it was admirable, i still made that same mistake many made in the 90's of assuming it was in drop D, and failed to just go ahead and use the best tuning of them all (which ofcourse is standard E! *)! Instead of giving the good 'ol standard E chord the credit& props it deserves, by using common-sense, trusting my ear, and soon &so forth,etc.etc.etc.blah,blah, blah, i dropped it, either friggin'way, close but no cigar for me!!? However, im just glad i cauggt yer channel! Looks like you exain many more punk favorites of mine, so ima checkitout, andlooks like im gonna do some practicing and some strumming soon! Peace *Just for the record, for Serve.. u tuned to Eflat from Estandard .
Awesome. Glad this helped. I remember spending an entire day in high school in the early nineties “learning” every song on Nevermind. I wrote them all day and found them years later and they were so wrong. It still helps in the long run!
I finally took the time and learned the solo thanks to you! Sounds on point when playing with backing tracks!
Awesome!
