OMG I have to point out (because I was shook) that Maeve did not transform into just anyone trying to seduce Erawan. She transformed into Aelin which he was slightly interested in to feel like he bested her and then MANON who he actually wanted🤢🤢🤢

I started it mannnyy years ago but couldn't stick with it for some reason, it's another YA war book with a beautiful and tragic main girl. Lorcan was kinda ready to embrace death but it says “his name on her lips had been a summons he could never deny” so I read that like she pulled him back from death. 🥹🫶 2) Maeve didn’t make herself out to be someone from Erawan’s past. She first showed up as herself, then changed into Aelin, then into Manon! 😭 which was just traumatizing cuz at this point I think most of us are rooting for Dorian & Manon
I finished the book last week and literally sobbed. It was the first time I've cried in a book in YEARS! It was sooooo good! P.S. I've been looking forward to this video ALL WEEK haha. Thank you ♡♡

I'm going to be honest, if it wasn't for your plot recaps IDK that I would know the plot of this series. THERES SO SO MUCH to this series & my brain gets too overwhelmed. As someone who likes to just vibe with their stories I thank you for this TOG playlist! 😊
Aelin's decision to randomly trade Elena for Erawan pissed me off so much and almost ruined the entire book for me because what do you mean you're gonna sacrifice the fate of the entire world for a person who is ALREADY dead and who started this whole mess? And like the whole time it's been presented as either the Firebringer can defeat Maeve and Erawan OR you have to get rid of Erawan by forging the Lock so the fact that Aelin forged the lock, lost her powers AND didn't send Erawan away is BONKERS i dont understand that decision, it doesn't make any sense and i'm rlly mad about it. Also, i hate the trope of a super powerful character losing their power (like Nesta in acosf....)
It literally took me out of the book. So random, not at all aligned with her motivations like what?! Just for the keys to not matter like there were better ways to do that. Ruined my experience and made 0 sense. So she was going to die for Elena who is already dead😂 Forgot to mention then Elena being erased from existence without another mention was wild😂😂😂
In my head Dorian is gonna live for a long time and be with Manon and Caol and Yeren’s life is tied together so there gonna love forever as well I refuse to believe any thing else
he physically died when the magic keeping his body alive was drained, but his spirit was still around in their version of the other side. so when aelin and dorian go there to forge the lock, his spirit shows up and steps in to take dorian's place and safe his life!

😅 It is paradox, I love Acotar for its characters, ToG for the amazing story and lore and CC1 for the world building....what then happened to CC2 to CC3 😢 made me sad, because SJM can wright interwoven wonderful stories as you showed so perfectly by this video series.
