Best way to practice AWPing in CS:GO

- I'm not sponsored by refrag, but by far this seems to be the most optimal way to go about it. The reps per minute are insane compared to DM, and you are in real fights. Also you get the benefit of training your reflexive aim when the bots peak you, which is not possible to do in aim bots.

Finding a good 1v1 server and setting it to prefer awp rounds is a good idea too, it's not as frequent as refrag sure but the upside is you get human opponents who are usually fairly competent.
Yea that helps you practice the mechanics of an awp fight, but I think if you want to strictly train awp shooting mechanics this is better

terrible cause theyll just intentionally juke, fake, bait and dodge and move erratically in odd unpredictable manner and patterns and try to prefire you or something which happrns once in a hundred matches anyway just play ffa dm or aim maps
I have my own settings for training with AWP on crossfire.
Refrag crossfire awp settings
Swingers 1:
Delay: 1.5s
Repeek reaction time: 0.5s
Reaction time 0.4s
Can jump: on
Can flash: on
Can wide before flash: on
I am scoped in before hand, I hold a couple of angles, if they do not peek from there I will search out and clear the other angles. Repeat.
The flash setting is up to debate, I usually play without it

I use refrag to warmup as an awper with crossfire mode. Even with two bots it is really good :D

best way to train awp is to train scout
That can help for sure with the precision aspect of aiming since youll be going for heads
@@samRi_clips definitely, although I’m only half serious. With the increased movement and 2 hit to bodies in an actual match they play completely differently of course, though just for aim I like to practice with scout.
nah, best way to train awp is to play awp. DMs and training flicks in aimbots is more than enough. If you do flick training for 10 mins and DM for 15mins, that is the easiest way to get better ( if you dont have a lot of time of course ). The reason the scout is not a good shout is because scout does not teach you good positioning, because of the speed difference, you can be a lot more aggressive and risk evasive, which is gonna cost you with the awp.

@@samRi_clips yeah it is lmao. Playing more games with awp is literally practicing awp and building your skill with the weapon. Sure you can warm up, do aim labs, kill bots or whatever but nothing is gonna make you better like actually using the awp in game
@@pb_monkey I agree with you completely. Just AWP as much as possible, find your weaknesses, THEN you can practice those things if need be.
