Girl I live for your vlogs! I'm a Jamaican girl, 17 and moving to Canada soon. I'm currently self-teaching myself chinese in hopes to visit there one day. When I do, I hope we can meet and have a blast!
Edit: 6:42 Oh my gosh! So quick story time. There are so many Chinese people living here in Jamaica and speak our language Patois but I've never seen a Jamaican person living here who is interested to learn Chinese. So one day I went to the supermarket to practice my chinese with the Chinese supermarket owner. Everyone was so shocked and crowded around us. And the first thing he said to me was this EXACT line! Telling me if I know the language so well and wanna visit China I should get a chinese boyfriend! I laughed so hard and replied 我不要一个男朋友。 He was like! You should get one! He then turned to everyone and said See! I taught her chinese! Chinese people are so funny sometimes. I can't. 😂
PS: It was so unbelievable to some people that I was speaking in Chinese as a black Jamaican girl. It reached the point where I was speaking chinese and the Chinese supermarket owner was translating it so they understood that He understood me. And that was last year December when I started a few months before so I was scared to speak and din't know a lot of vocabulary like now. SO for anyone learning the language 加油！！Also if you have any more tips on learning I'm all ears!

Yeah, I've been to Jamaica and I did see a lot of Chinese people there. If more and more Chinese people start to migrate to Jamaica, they should start offering Chinese classes in school.

Yay this is so exciting! I love this new video because it has encompasses two of my current hobbies, Mandarin and Inline Skating.
