China doesn't have the "I can't breath" thing. We are aware of racism and horrible brutality in some most developed nations but we don't have such a legacy or problem. We are not accustomed to cautiousness and awareness not to tread some lines because we never need or have such lines here.
Don't think it's strange, she is in Guizhou, the most backward and poorest area in China. Many people have never left Guizhou in their entire lives and have never seen any foreigners. So it's normal for them to be curious about foreigners.

When they said "She is so black, do you think she can hear us", and started laughing, They were trying to be sneaky with their insults lol. I've seen her other vids when visiting Guizhou. Check out the vid when she visits there in the snow. This nice couple came and took a picture with her and complimented her. THEY knew the difference between curiousity and an insult.

There are some who are not as open. They're everywhere. The key is how has the lady been treated by the others. If the rudeness happens rarely, don't make it a big case. There are many African students in China.

It's the multiple giggles for me; that was the laugh of relating to eachother and what they had just heard. Like, "bro, i know what you mean...you just said what i was thinking" giggle. He was like, she doesn't understand what i'm saying so we can bitch about her to her face, while she is standing in front of us.🤣😭😮💨 And these types of people, are the ones who will stare the most and will literally make eye contact with you. too. i'm glad you were able to have a relatively chill travel trip and vlog and sight see and explore the airport and didn't let nonsensical people in the elevator get you down! 😃

I was once standing in a subway coach in London and the chilly temperature induced a persistent cough from me. A young white man standing next to me turned to stare at me, with obvious hatred in his eyes for about a minute before he walked away.
That young white man staring at you for a minute was not meant to be impolite, just an innocent observation, with no malice intended. At least you wasn't shouted or spat at...

I know this question might seem too much and you don't have to answer, but I was curious about how you take care of your living expenses. Since you are an international student I'm assuming you don't get a student loan from the Chinese government. So do your parents pay for all your living expenses or do you have a part-time job? I know part-time jobs can be hard to get for foreigners in China. Sorry, I'm just curious.

You mentioned your departure time was 9:20 pm, then from the flight info board, I would guess the destination was Shanghai. Arrived at 12 midnight means flight duration was about 2 hours 40 mins which coincides with the flight duration from Guiyang to Shanghai.
I just took my fright from Lagos new Terminal 2 built by China but I felt high speed train station whatever in China is much better 😂 It's a bit regrettable to see that Lagos does not have world class airport
@@ajibade_christabel People in general have been telling me this all my life and it’s just as bad. Been homeless in a shelter twice by time I was 25. Literally not even a penny to my name while typing this, no criminal history, with a full time job. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? someone asked me 10 years ago when I was 19. I saw myself having a career, owning a home, family, etc.. And I’m just as bad off now as I was than with none of those things. Just working/slaving on these jobs for absolutely nothing (paycheck to paycheck). Mom is homeless too now with a full time job; so it’s actually getting worse as the cost of living increases by the day! But thank you, I still keep faith that things get better someday.

You mentioned your departure time was 9:20 pm, then from the flight info board, I would guess the destination was Shanghai. Arrived at 12 midnight means flight duration was about 2 hours 40 mins which coincides with the flight duration from Guiyang to Shanghai.
I just took my fright from Lagos new Terminal 2 built by China but I felt high speed train station whatever in China is much better 😂

@@ajibade_christabel People in general have been telling me this all my life and it’s just as bad. Been homeless in a shelter twice by time I was 25. Literally not even a penny to my name while typing this, no criminal history, with a full time job. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? someone asked me 10 years ago when I was 19. I saw myself having a career, owning a home, family, etc.. And I’m just as bad off now as I was than with none of those things. Just working/slaving on these jobs for absolutely nothing (paycheck to paycheck). Mom is homeless too now with a full time job; so it’s actually getting worse as the cost of living increases by the day! But thank you, I still keep faith that things get better someday.
