Ive ridden bikes from 50 cc to 2 litre And i have to say i bought one of these and it is heaps of fun Smooth zippy handles good Looks great and The best fuel economy 500 km at least for 12 litres of fuel I think its my favourite bike The best bang for the buck you will get And full comprehensive insurance 300 aussie dollars per year
Anything over 120km/h on our roads is looking for trouble in any case with our local traffic lords, most people on the highway drives between 90 and 100 anyways, so top speed isn't important, I catch myself on my 650 v strom doing 110 to 120
I bought a 650 for 25k and it was loads of fun aswell it was a bmw gs650 twin spark single cylinder with 30k on the clock I may have scored because it slept in a garage and wasn't riden anywhere for 3 years. It was also my uncles bike 😅so he pretty much gave it to me but my point is there's a lot more you can buy for 58k
I remember your review on Suzuki Gixxer 250 few years back, that bike share the same engine with this bike.. so which one do u prefer? This bike or its full faired brother?
This or the versys-X 300? I feel like the versys is a bit underrated while it offers a parallel twin.. I thinks it’s worth it even with a premium of R30 000 more than the V storm 250
I have a SYM NH-T200. It goes well. True top speed when giving it all the beans is between 120-125kph, even though the speedo says 140kph. I cruise at between 110-120kph (speedo) on the highway and I'm averaging 2.48L/100km (+-41km\L). Mind you, I bought mine October 2022 and paid R35,995 at the time.
@@BN-ip4nx Hi there. Too soon for me to speak on long-term reliability, as mine just crossed the 2,000km only. So far it hasn't skipped a beat. Really comfortable bike to ride and extremely fuel efficient. I have spoken to someone who has 30,000km on his and he said that he hasn't had anything major go wrong with his bike. The biggest issue with the NH-T200, I would say, is buying the wrong bike for what you want to use it for. It's not a fast powerful bike, but it will get you places on-road and off-road in decent comfort and at low cost. It's also really really easy to ride. I'd say get a taller windscreen from day 1 also, however there's only one place in S.A. that I've found to sell accessories.
Now I’m starting to think of this hey🤦🏾♂️ But Hero has the X pulse and that is also fuel injected but a 200cc and reliability for that is also top notch and if I’m not mistaken it’s like R45k🫢🫣
VStrom SX is a far more sophisticated and better engineered bike than the XPulse 200. Simply no comparison. It has better quality components,,, higher cruising speed, better lo end torque,,, reinforced sub frame like a proper ADV, smoother engine and best in class comfort

There seems to be two types of LCD Screens on this model . Is it a setting or what country you live in type thing ?

If you wish to go off-road, the fairinged Gixxer might have some problems.
would it be abko to go 120kmph for a long distance (80km)
I would like to see a more in-depth review.
But, how much is it....
We will appoint a task team to find out.
Is the DS250RL the same as the V-strom SX.
Just ordered mine
how has it been?
You good mate?
58k SA or 6500 AUD.... sheeesh that inflation is crazy...

If the R30,000 isn't a concern, go for it.
What about the SYM NXT 200 its R43 000

@@timothysiebritzhey man. I'm looking into the sym but I'm worried about reliability. How has your experience been in regard to reliability?

@@timothysiebritz Thanks a ton. I'm looking for my first bike and the Sym sounds perfect
58 grand? It costs 3200 Dollars in india.
150?! No way. Maybe on the speedo, 26 hp doesnt get you to 150
It does indeed.
The bike weighs just 167 kgs and geared better. It can easily cruise at 120kph with enough juice to overtake. I own one
@@thebikeshowsa its 137 gps (yt video with gps comparison), quite a big difference with the speedo. Still a nice little engine tho 👍
thats cheap ! Wonder who is subsidizing it? The cheap labour?
Suzuki trying to gain market share perhaps ?
