Change to the green elastomer inserts! They are softer
Ah... very interesting. I see that ktm offer 3 colour's green (soft) the clear or yellow that they come with (medium) and red (hard) I am going to see if I can get hold of the green ones and try them out. Thanks for the tip 👍
As an 890 smt owner i'm definitely looking forward to the next video to see if this solves the vibrations. Thanks for posting this and your other videos
Thanks for watching. I have just ridden to Antwerp. The speed limits are higher here in Belgium, so I can see what the vibes are like on the way home. So far, not that positive at 60 mph. So I am interested to see at 70 to 75 mph if there is an improvement.
@@dean-does-stuff-81 Thanks for follow-up. That sucks the 60 mph range not much improvement. I'm hoping 75 mph will improve- that's where i see the most problem
I'd be interested to know if this mod helps with the mirror vibes as well. At motorway speeds the mirrors are next to useless
@@sorecawk it is definitely an improvement. Mirrors are way better. Vibes are down to a light buzz. I am thinking about making an internal bar weight. I will male a video once I have had more time on the bike. 125 kph was definitely an improvement for sure...
Ppl say use the cooper insert of the Duke 790 r handelbar weight
