You are so right about the XL thing. I’ve worked hard to lose weight and in a plus size I was a size 22 now I’m. Size 10 or 12 yet apparently a size 12 is large and a 10 medium also the sizing of different items varies so much. I get so confused what size to order. Even if you buy a different colour of the same item there is no guarantee that they will actually be the same size
Jess the bandu dress looks nice babe. Just pop on some tummy control high Waisted knickers and it will make you feel more comfortable. I do hauls on my channel too and personal I think you picked some lovely bits but it was just sizing. I have the same problem with h&m too, it's so annoying 😫 Xx❤
Love the green dress in smaller size, dont be afraid of colour hun it suirs you. The material is important to look at before picking a size. But definitely size varies so much by brand. Shorts need to size up, long flowy skirt with denim top, top is gorgeous, denim dress looks lovely but if not comfortable send back, love jumpsuit. Beige top bit boring. You look amazing❤

The beige top will look good when you’ve a bit of a tan, and you looked fabulous when you paired it with the shorts. The green dress will look good when you are a bit tanned too, the colour will pop and I think it suited you, yes definitely needs a smaller size. Loved the jump suit. Love the green dress, with straps like that once you get the bows right pop a couple of stitches in them to keep them in place. Sew poppers in-between the buttons on the denim top, pair with white teared skirt. Loved them all, my favourite is the jumpsuit a little white short sleeve t shirt underneath would be good ❤

I think returning the denim dress is a good idea, it seems that you're not 100% with it and the zip falling down would likely make you self conscious. Definitely size down on the jumpsuit because it suits you! & the beige vest will be great in the summer when you're a little more tan (especially after a holiday)
I think the majority of the items look fine on you, all they need is someone handy with a needle and some sewing tweaks here and there to be done done x

That denim dress looked flattering on you. the metal zips they put on jeans etc have a locking mechanism you have to ensure the puller is flat down on the zip. Might help although would be a bit difficult when it's on the back. As a staple denim dress that colour is perfect but straps or short sleeves would be more versatile I think. A blouse or top could becworn underneath on cooler days

My rule with ordering from H&M…first of all become a club member for free returns 😂 also, jeans and trousers with a number size, size up. Everything else with a letter size, order what you think you’ll need and a size smaller in everything. It’s the only way!

I dont think the denim dress is a very flattering fit on you. I think you could find another one that would look much better. It does look a bit tight around the middle too.

I shop in a lot of different places both online and in store and I'm anything from a size 8 to a size 16 & anything from a M to XL. Make THAT make sense. Women's clothing sizes are so messed up and all over the place

Hi Jess Love the green dress but size down The beige racer top I would keep in the size you have and allow for the 1st time you wash as I think all clothes have some shrinkage The denim bandaeu top I would not size down I think it fit you well , if you get smaller to accommodate your chest I think it will be tight The shorts do look too tight , almost like cutting into your thighs and you should sit down also when trying items on Bandaeu denim dress is gorgeous but maybe try it with some shape wear if your conscious of it being tight, ask Emmanuel to pull the zip and lock it down if you know what I mean it should stay up , again sit down in the dress to see if it rides up ❤❤❤❤
I think these days Jess you can’t say your a definite anything because as you said every company have their own sizes so I try and focus on how they look rather than the size label. The denim peplum top is gorgeous on you but defo size down because it’s that stretchy denim.Love the jumpsuit but again size down.Not keen on the dark denim or green dress.The shorts and T-shirt look cool but I would size down one in the top because it looked a bit big at the sides.Sizing can be depressing especially if your say a smaller size in one store than another but it depends on so much,the cut, the material and its quality etc etc.Sure is a minefield.Either way your looking great❤

In H&M a large is a 16-18 and XL is 20-22 is what I got told when in there.

The denim peplum top is gorgeous on you but defo size down because it’s that stretchy denim.Love the jumpsuit but again size down.Not keen on the dark denim or green dress.The shorts and T-shirt look cool but I would size down one in the top because it looked a bit big at the sides.Sizing can be depressing especially if your say a smaller size in one store than another but it depends on so much,the cut, the material and its quality etc etc.Sure is a minefield.Either way your looking great❤

Agree the sizes are confusing, I don't think you have fallen into the trap of "your style" just wear clothes you like and feel comfortable. I think you know the clothes that work for you and the ones that don't.
