The only change he did to his setup and it was for the worse. He didn't even like, equip it as a second charm (Which he could to keep Ms Chalice, it was actually completely unnecessary for him to leave her out), he just went for it, as if he even knew how to Parry to begin with.
Kevin going into this without any Charms, weapons, the Extra bomb on the plane and without understanding the parry mechanic or even unlocking the Death counter shows just how unprepared he was for this

My 5-year-old is obsessed with Cuphead. We've played through the game. He crushed the new tutorial before I even had a chance to figure it out haha. I have to say the 4th Champion fight is probably my favorite. Chaining heads is awesome and super fun. They should make more levels like that.

When Kevin has the golden shot at the very end, right before the anteater attacks, you can actually see it hitting the snail boss when it’s used. I think that’s the only to tell that he’s the real last boss.

I genuinely think the dog that moves the screen is bad. When she puts it sideways it alters your controls relative to the controller, but when she puts it upside down it shifts relative to the screen. Inconsistency is bad in a very precise game such as this.
