Dredd felt like an homage to the original Robocop, and I mean that in the best way. It was more of a Robocop reboot than the Robocop reboot. I feel like if they can't do a sequel, they should nail down a Netflix series with Karl Urban. That would be the perfect platform for it.
@@70agrr Yeah Dredd was very much the starting point of Robocop, this is one of the original Robocop designs lh4.googleusercontent.com/-KFik3d91-QU/UJ-XoPk03KI/AAAAAAAABeA/W-HNI0c7uNs/s500/5842750530_68364a565f.jpg
A lot of people brought up that 'it felt like a genuine 80's action movie' and the first thing that came to mind for me was Robocop. The grittiness, the gore, the dark humor, all brought back that original Robocop vibe for me. Loved it. As to a sequel? I'd buy that for a dollar!
Of all the movies I saw in 2012 -- from big budget Hollywood movies to foreign air-house films -- Dredd was no doubt my favorite. Dredd is everything I wanted out of, say, a Batman movie: instead of setting up this huge situation where a city/world is in peril, just drop the character in a grounded situation and let him/her do what they do best. Not every comic book movie needs to have airships falling from the sky or lasers shooting up into the air. And Dredd proved that. And did so perfectly.
I visit your channel daily in hope of new videos. I enjoy the Netflix recommendations but the "exploring series" and "good bad flicks" are why I come back. The time and effort you put in shows through the depth of the content. Please make more of these videos!
Thank you, Judge. I absolutely love this movie and have signed the petition for a sequel a while back. It needs to happen. When I'm unable to decide on something on Netflix, I always click on this. It's been my go-to for a while. Great video, as always.
I love the attention to detail in tis movie. you can still see the bullet hole and blood in Dredds armor at the end. Most films would have missed that.
Even though I didn't like it being marketed as Dredd 3D as it's normally only really shitty films that do that, the 3D in Dredd was some of the best I've seen.
John Carter was pretty good, but was a victim of crappy advertising and lack of faith in the project from Disney. Also, the fact that it was based on a fairly obscure literary character (even though it was the same guy who created Tarzan), didn't help either. Still, it's a really good movie that I feel eventually will become a cult hit. Sort of like how Scott Pilgrim bombed at the box office but became a cult hit via DVD and Blu-Ray sales.
The thing about Dredd never taking his helmet off in the film is at least part due to Karl Urban. He told Empire that, as a fan of the comics, he specified that he'd only take the role if Dredd kept his helmet on.
For me it felt like another proper 80s action movie again, more so than the Expandables, kind of like a spiritual successor to films like Total Recall or maybe Die Hard. I would love a sequel. I think a lot of people know a bit more about it, I missed it for the cinema but saw it at home. Had never read the comics. So I hope a sequel does better. Having seen Game of Thrones since seeing Dredd originally, I now recognise Lena Hedley and she did a great job in both. Pure evil. There's not a lot of female villains and she is a very good one in this.
GoodBadFlicks Oh why? What have you heard? :( BTW you are the reason I bought this on DVD and spreading the word. Maybe the new Mad Max Movie made the cultural impact classic 80s style movies need.
+Snag Prophet A terribly underrated action film. If I had to find one thing to complain about, it would be a constant reminder than we never see Dreed taking his helmet off, but WE KNOW WHAT K. Urban looks like so whats the point? They might off hired an unknown actor and would save a cople hundret thousand dollars on Urbans pay check. Otherwise, if we take in consideration what kinde of a movie it is, a good movie is a good movie, 9/10. Bravo.
Dredd is a terrific film. The relationship between Dredd & Anderson anchors this movie and makes you care about what happens to them. Plus the story, FX, acting, writing and directing are all top notch. Just wonderful.
PsychoZulu I think it’s because there are no tripple A Hollywoodstars in it. Carl urban and Lena headey are known actors but not huge. imagine it would have been Jason statham as dredd, Scarlett Johansson as the psychic partner etc. Those 45 million would have just been enough to pay the leads. I wouldn’t be surprised if urban even accepted a smaller paycheck to make the movie happen
7:41 always loved the 'CHOPPER' tag in this, references the larger world that the fans know about but non-fans won't be left out wondering "What's that about?"
Love this movie. Honestly when it came out, the trailers didn't stick out to me and I hadn't followed the comic series so it almost flew under my radar. Randomly saw it with a buddy in 3D at the theatre and it blew me away. One of my absolute favorite theatre experiences. It's one of the few movies that uses 3D perfectly. Afterwards I wouldn't shut up about it and dragged my friends and family to see it and they all loved it too. I hope they are able to follow up with another sequel or maybe a Netflix series as long as it's approached with the same passion and gritty artistic direction.
Dredd has become one of my favorite movies of all time. I've been a part of the "Make a Dredd Sequel" community for more than two years now, and have signed the petition and shared it with others as much as possible, recommending everyone I talk to into this type of movie to go give it a watch and buy it if they love it. If Dredd will only be one movie and not getting a sequel, then so be it. I will in that case have to accept it. But that won't stop me from hoping from the bottom of my heart they'll make it a trilogy, and do everything I can to see it happen. But since the first movie just keeps on gaining more and more fans and supporters, there really is no reason why it wouldn't happen.
***** Even then, enough people want to see Dredd 2 for them to get money for it - fans could help sponsoring them if companies are being idiots about it. And plenty of movies that didn't go well in theaters got sequels after companies realized how much it's popularity was growing. And since the actor of Dredd AND the producer of the movie among with probably everyone else working on the Dredd movie knows about it's off-theater success and thinks it's awesome, they will keep trying to think of a way for it to be made.
In my opinion, this is the best comic book adaptation ever and one of the best action movies of all time. Karl Urban is AWESOME!! Who watches Karl Urban as Dredd and then says, "You know who would make a great Batman? Ben Affleck!!" Come On, Hollywood!!! Give the fans the Dredd sequel it deserves!!!
That was an amazing, thanks so much for all the effort you put into these. Dredd came out in theaters and I was hyped to see it, but opening weekend I was busy, so I figured I would get it the second weekend. Unfortuantly they pulled it at my local theather after only one week! When I finally got to see it I loved it, I think I have watched it around 6 times now, and learning all the stuff you shared just makes me love it more. Awesome movie, Awesome video. Oh, and a sequel is a must, Karl Urban was freakin perfect!
I actually avoided this film in theaters thinking it was probably going to suck, but my friends told me about it later and I ended up loving it. I hope they make a sequel and build on the world they established.
The day after I first watched Dredd, I watched it again. I really love this movie. The script is great- it's a tight plot with no bullshit, and avoids cliches in clever and awesome ways. Hopefully we get a sequel at some point.
This is what I look for in a good action film. A prime example in my opinion. Lean and stripped back, just pure action that isn't weighed down and doesn't detract from the action. Imagine if this was Transformers: Age Of Extinction length? I doubt it would be as good
i remember the first time i watched this movie on Netflix, i was blown away by how great it was. i had never heard of rhe movie or the 90's stalone movie. so i had no idea what to expect going in.
Loved this film! For me, it was almost like this generation's Escape From New York. Tough, smart anti-hero in a gritty escape story. Minimalist synth score and dirty, trashed environments. Fast-paced with all killer, no filler in a short running time. It's a perfect little action flick and the movie that made me have to get a 3D TV! After seeing Dredd in 3D in the theater there was NO WAY I could watch that film in 2D! Nice work on this video!
7:55 actually one of the reason that i love this film , is that aside it similarities with the raid , i can watch both films at the same time and not feel tired .. because of how much world building in dredd does make the film feels unique and different from the raid .. even thought at its core they are almost telling the same story
This movie is criminally underrated and brings back the feeling of the visceral, hard hitting 80s action films while taking advantage of modern film make techniques. Carl Urban is outstanding as Dredd and deserves another film as the judge.
Definitely one of the best adaptations of a comic book. They got the gritty, dismal world of Judge Dredd down with the bad-assness of Dredd the character. This is up there with Deadpool in terms of being a quality adaptation.
Yes, agree with you completely. When it was released I was too busy to go to the theater but then later viewed it on Movies on Demand. I instantly regretted missing this film on the big screen and envy anyone who did because of so many astonishing scenes. And I as well did like a lot of things in the 95 Dredd but honestly it was primarily a Stallone movie rather than a Dredd film, mostly a color by numbers action flick for general audiences, nothing too deep or serious. Dredd 2012 went in the opposite direction and shows it was a passion project by everyone involved, truly one of those rare gems among so much cinema slop out there. Sadly it didn't take off at the box office (like Alita), but has developed a loyal fan following. Hey, some great stuff doesn't do well and a lot of garbage sells big. And you also showed an image of John Carter, an example of another great film that didn't do big at the box office.
Great video! There is such a huge mismatch between what makes a movie commercially successful and what makes it a good film. John Carter, for example, was a decent film considering the source material. I remember thinking at the time that they could have gone any number of ways away from the book and made another faceless modern reboot, but they didn't and I appreciated that. Filled it with useless special effects, though. Thinking about that, I wonder if box office success is truly a reason for studios to make sequels. I mean, if a studio has confidence in a movie, they promote the hell out of it, they make a lot of money anyway because people go and see it before they have a chance to hear how good it really is, and they can make any number of sequels even if the first film tanks, just because they believe in the concept. If they don't have confidence, you get something like Dredd, that people didn't really hear about until it was off the big screen. Isn't that like a self fulfilling prophecy rather than a cool management decision? It would be interesting to graph the profit margin of films together with the occurrence of them getting a sequel.
I'm tired of films that take characters and plot, but forget the major themes of the source material. You can't make a John Carter film where the characters are clothed. The pulp-nude-titulation is central to the material. The books are brutal and visceral, and very misogynistic, total dick-waving. Hollywood keeps taking tame family-friendly scripts, and buying well known material simply for the title and name recognition. I Robot, The Puppet Masters, etc. Luckily Netflix is still in a place where they don't think every film has to be dumbed down and sanitized for the lowest common denominator.
Salute to Karl Urban for this incredible performance! "Just" by voice and body language Urban gave Dredd life and character. Lets remember Tim Curry in "Legend" when he asked the directer due to the heavy make up: "Don't take away my eyes."
i have been subscribed to your channel for over 7 months now and i really love your videos, its a shame that you don't have more views. As always great work and keep up the good work (BTW i loved Dredd, its awesome you made a video about it)
I really love these videos that focus on the production and development of films. They are informative and very well done. I appreciate the time and effort that goes into them.
Not only my favorite movie-based-on-a-cartoon to have come out recently, but also one of my favorite action movies! Just watching your review makes me start itching to see it again! I consider myself a proud owner of this movie. Thanks!
I saw this the night it opened in the UK. One of those films that did everything right. Perfect casting, excellent design, wonderful cinematography, and embraced its lower budget instead of being ashamed of it (I love 'Riddick' for the same reason). It really deserves a sequel, and Karl Urban really deserves a franchise dammit!
The trailer killed it for me....which was a shame after I realize how awesome the movie is lol. Fun fact: They're now making a TV show (supposedly still with Karl Urban).
Once I knew that they were Gonna release another Dredd. I knew it was gonna be good. I enjoyed the old one because of Sly. But this is awesome. I would definitely go see a sequel if they ever plan getting to it
I agree. And make it dark and R-rated this time around. Something more along the lines of the HBO animated series, which was brilliant and fit the tone of the original comic more than the movie did.

Awesome, awesome movie. Perfect lines, perfect character depiction. I love when the psychic girl "reads" Dredd. Beautiful lines when he talks through the comms to all the people in the building, great measured words that define the character. Everything works in this movie.
Fuck that! I'm getting a plan ready to kidnap Karl Urban and filming his scenes anyway, gorilla style. Put him in the shit! I just need some accomplice... I mean, I just need helpers. You in?
Dredd was as close to perfect as any film I've ever seen. I especially liked the total lack of emotional involvement between the lead characters. That was sooooo refreshing. The movie didn't waste any time. I can watch it again and again without fast forwarding through any scenes.
While I didn't like the film as much as many others did, I totally see the appeal. I think to me, this was more a "laying the foundations"-type movie than anything else that was just begging to be built upon with the world further explored in a sequel. Karl Urban is perfect but the "Die Hard in an X" plot didn't quite do it for me...definitely want a sequel!
Thanks for writing about it -- a cult classic that is probably going to get rediscovered 20 years from now. Wish it didn't have to suffer the same fate as John Carpenter's THE THING. It's a great movie, right up there near ROBOCOP and DIE HARD.
I was so lucky when I went to go see this movie. Me and a friend decided to go to the movies at like 10pm to the latest showing and Dredd was there and I wanted to see it. My buddy wanted to watch it cause like you said in the video he thought it was going to be a sequel to Sly's version and he didn't see any of the trailers for it so he didn't like it afterwards because of that. (which is really sad) But when we went in we were the only ones in the theater, so we got to put our feet on the seats, and yell, and react to parts in the movie without being yelled at or shushed it was awesome. This is definitely one of my favorite comic book movies I've ever seen.
Great video. I think this movie is pretty awesome (especially compared to the Stallone one). Also, I love that you start this video with spoken Anthrax lyrics! I laughed out loud a little. Pretty badass choice!

I'm not usually a fan of violent movies, but something about Dredd really drew me in and got me to watch it multiple times. It's very well paced, acted and shot.
lol he has a bit in the Mortal Kombat review I think a lot of people missed where Shao Khan comes at the end and says "bow to me" and very quickly a text pops up with "faithfully" at the bottom...got my like, not many people would think of a Morbid Angel reference in an internet review show these days, would go over almost everyone's head...

+Galactic Specter Hmmmmm... That could work, Follow on with Anderson's training in the Psi-Corp and problems coming from there... Again, also leaves room for more then - A Spin off Anderson Movie maybe?
Irony, The Raid got ahold of a leaked script, adapted it, and rushed their own movie out to beat Dredds release. Then everyone called Dredd the ripoff.
+daggumnametaken I'm guessing that's why all those movies come out in pairs (Antz/ A Bug's Life, Olympus Has Fallen/ White House Down, No Strings Attached/ Friends With Benefits, Armageddon/ Deep Impact, Finding Nemo/ Shark Tale, The Prestige/ The Illusionist, Paul Blart/ Observe And Report), someone gets a leaked script and quickly shits out a copycat to steal its thunder.
@@gedeyogam9096 I'm sure. Those pair movies are not just coincidences. Its uncreative Hollywood trolls trying to puke out a shitty version faster so they can say the original movie "stole the idea". The worst is when it was a crappy idea to begin with...

Dredd felt like an homage to the original Robocop, and I mean that in the best way. It was more of a Robocop reboot than the Robocop reboot. I feel like if they can't do a sequel, they should nail down a Netflix series with Karl Urban. That would be the perfect platform for it.
A TV series is a much better hope for you.
If I remember Paul Verhoeven was a big fan of Judge Dredd, which influenced Robocop.
I always felt that the original Robocop movie was a better Dredd movie than the original Dredd movie
Also, Karl Urban fucking rules.
Joshua Campbell You said it.
GoodBadFlicks Yes he does, he is one of my favorite actors working today.
I visit your channel daily in hope of new videos. I enjoy the Netflix recommendations but the "exploring series" and "good bad flicks" are why I come back. The time and effort you put in shows through the depth of the content. Please make more of these videos!
Chuong Do Thanks! Lots more to come. I've got two more Exploring vids in the coming weeks and then a fun regular episode after that.
GoodBadFlicks agree great content on your channel!
Thank you, Judge.
I absolutely love this movie and have signed the petition for a sequel a while back. It needs to happen.
When I'm unable to decide on something on Netflix, I always click on this. It's been my go-to for a while.
Great video, as always.
James Bee thanks!
Welp, it's been 5-6 years... where's our Dredd 2?
Hopefully we do get a sequel to this great film.
Still waiting...
It ain't NEVER coming, deal with it. Just settle for a TV series.
Treat It With Respect✊🏻.
I love the attention to detail in tis movie. you can still see the bullet hole and blood in Dredds armor at the end. Most films would have missed that.
great film. disappointed I didnt go see in in 3d at the theater
Same here!
Ditto.
Was one of the only films I've ever deemed worthy of watching in 3d, and I was glad I did.
I don't want to rub it in but it was AMAZING in 3d. Also the sound just went right through you. I saw it twice, had to.
Even though I didn't like it being marketed as Dredd 3D as it's normally only really shitty films that do that, the 3D in Dredd was some of the best I've seen.
Love this movie.
Dredd has been everything I ever wanted from an action movie. Easily one of the best I have ever seen. Also, I like John Carter, I think it's cool.
Ho was the guy playing john carter he looked like a James Franco clone
Thrano I'll probably do a video on John Carter, its a good movie
Awsome after if you haven got any thing planed could you do a review of the thing
Sort of like how Scott Pilgrim bombed at the box office but became a cult hit via DVD and Blu-Ray sales.
scott pilgrim is bad cos of the actor they got for him
The thing about Dredd never taking his helmet off in the film is at least part due to Karl Urban.
***** looks like Dredd 2 isn't happening :(
GoodBadFlicks Oh why? What have you heard? :(
BTW you are the reason I bought this on DVD and spreading the word.
Bravo.
+Snag Prophet that is very awesome to hear btw , those were the greatest times for action movies. i will definitely watch it .
+Snag Prophet if you ever get the chance to see it in 3D you have to. Best part of the cinema viewing.
Dredd is a terrific film. The relationship between Dredd & Anderson anchors this movie and makes you care about what happens to them. Plus the story, FX, acting, writing and directing are all top notch. Just wonderful.
Did you say this movie only had a 45 million dollar budget? Holey crap how did they make such a great movie on such a limited budget?
makes you wonder sometimes huh
PsychoZulu I think it’s because there are no tripple A Hollywoodstars in it. Carl urban and Lena headey are known actors but not huge. imagine it would have been Jason statham as dredd, Scarlett Johansson as the psychic partner etc. Those 45 million would have just been enough to pay the leads.
I wouldn’t be surprised if urban even accepted a smaller paycheck to make the movie happen
7:41 always loved the 'CHOPPER' tag in this, references the larger world that the fans know about but non-fans won't be left out wondering "What's that about?"
I had the biggest crush on Olivia in this movie. My god.
Num Num Num Num Num Num Num Num Num
But since the first movie just keeps on gaining more and more fans and supporters, there really is no reason why it wouldn't happen.
kurvos at this point, its just silly for them to not make a sequel. With all the buzz they would at the very least make their budget back theatrical
The sequel is not coming, deal with it. Just better hope for a TV series at best. Movie just bombed badly.
In my opinion, this is the best comic book adaptation ever and one of the best action movies of all time. Karl Urban is AWESOME!! Who watches Karl Urban as Dredd and then says, "You know who would make a great Batman? Ben Affleck!!"
Come On, Hollywood!!!
BeardedMovieGuy Thank you! :)
Yeah, I also regret missing this movie on the big screen.
Loved this! The soundtrack was awesome as well and the fact they managed to do it and keep his helmet on the full time was great.
I actually avoided this film in theaters thinking it was probably going to suck, but my friends told me about it later and I ended up loving it. I hope they make a sequel and build on the world they established.
I first saw this film with a group of friends at their apartment and enjoyed it immensely. This must have been awesome in a proper movie theater.
I think this could also work as a TV show. With Karl and Olivia returning. I would watch it :D
I hope Netflix dose this!!
+Nelson comicbook.com/2016/04/23/karl-urban-wants-to-do-a-dredd-series-for-netflix-or-amazon-prim/
MSLcorp
Thank god they listened xD I hope they go forwards with this. It could really work.
Netflix to the rescue haha
HELL YEAH!
was in a bad mood then was browsing TH-cam and found some Cecil and now feel alot better. ty man. always love your vids. always put me in a good mood
Glad to help. Hope you continue to feel better :)
The day after I first watched Dredd, I watched it again. I really love this movie. The script is great- it's a tight plot with no bullshit, and avoids cliches in clever and awesome ways. Hopefully we get a sequel at some point.
We really do need more comic book movies where the actual creators have more active parts in the productions.
This is what I look for in a good action film. A prime example in my opinion. Lean and stripped back, just pure action that isn't weighed down and doesn't detract from the action. Imagine if this was Transformers: Age Of Extinction length? I doubt it would be as good
Dude, I love your movie breakdowns. I hope in the future you do more “main stream “movies
i remember the first time i watched this movie on Netflix, i was blown away by how great it was. i had never heard of rhe movie or the 90's stalone movie. so i had no idea what to expect going in.
What I mostly remember from the Stallone outing is the recycled food bot.
"Eat recycled food. It's good for the environment, and okay for you." :)
The Stalone movie had some great visuals as far as getting the look of the comic, but the story was not that good, and too much comedy.
***** Thanks!
Probably the most under appreciated comic book movie I kno if
after watchmen. Loved this movie
7:55 actually one of the reason that i love this film , is that aside it similarities with the raid , i can watch both films at the same time and not feel tired .. because of how much world building in dredd does make the film feels unique and different from the raid .. even thought at its core they are almost telling the same story
It's now 2019 and I'm still waiting for that sequel... sigh
Such a fantastic movie. I watch my copy at least once a week.
Karl Urban was made for that role. He gets to be a scowling badass through the whole movie.
The use of pinks, greens and yellows in the cinematography gave it a killer comic book aesthetic feel...loved this flick. Garland is a badass.
Make a drokkin' sequel, creeps!
This movie is criminally underrated and brings back the feeling of the visceral, hard hitting 80s action films while taking advantage of modern film make techniques. Carl Urban is outstanding as Dredd and deserves another film as the judge.
This movie was amazing...i loved comic books and they did it right here!
This movie blew me away. I really enjoyed it. I hope they're planning to make a sequel. I would love to see Judge Death in action.
This is my constantly rewatch collection
Siderite Zackwehdex I really liked John Carter but the studio majorly dropped the ball on the marketing.
This is one of my favorite action movies EVER, and I'm dying for a sequel. Great video as always!
The soundtrack is soooo good!
Salute to Karl Urban for this incredible performance! "Just" by voice and body language Urban gave Dredd life and character. Lets remember Tim Curry in "Legend" when he asked the directer due to the heavy make up: "Don't take away my eyes."
Quoting Anthrax to open a video: + 10 xp
+Bricky Steamboat :)
i have been subscribed to your channel for over 7 months now and i really love your videos, its a shame that you don't have more views. As always great work and keep up the good work (BTW i loved Dredd, its awesome you made a video about it)
Miguel Ángel Murillo García Thanks, I really appreciate it. The channel is getting there, slowly. :)
I missed DREDD on it's cinema release and I regret it. It is a violent and beautiful masterpiece and one of the best action films of latter days.
Excellent work, Cecil! Nice summation of everything. Creating more exposure for Dredd is always a great thing!
I absolutely loved Dredd!! They don't make movies like this anymore...
I really love these videos that focus on the production and development of films. They are informative and very well done. I appreciate the time and effort that goes into them.
goliathprime Thank you! It makes it worth the time that they are appreciated :)
This movie is amazing.
Not only my favorite movie-based-on-a-cartoon to have come out recently, but also one of my favorite action movies! Just watching your review makes me start itching to see it again! I consider myself a proud owner of this movie. Thanks!
***** awesome!
absolutely incredible action film!
I never once saw or heard an ad for the movie. Didn't even know it existed until after it was out of theaters.
I'm sorry, its not a good but bad film, Dredd is an amazing flick
watch the video bro... he doesn't say it's bad
These vids are a blast, thank you for making them. I really hope you explore Witchboard someday
Once I knew that they were
Gonna release another Dredd. I knew it was gonna be good. I enjoyed the old one because of Sly. But this is awesome. I would definitely go see a sequel if they ever plan getting to it
Thank you Cecil!!! I'm glad you did the exploring video on Dredd. I can't wait for your next video post!!!
Carlton Staples you are welcome! :)
Dredd 3D was FKing awesome.. I would go see a sequel .
Speaking of reboots can we please get another fucking spawn movie?
Lildoc911 YES!
Nice Anthrax reference 10/10
VETRIS84 Mandatory :)
Still pop in my dvd from time to watch it, such a solid movie.
It’s 2019. And still no sequel. We ARE getting The Boys Season 2, though. So Urban’s got that going for him.
Fuck that! I'm getting a plan ready to kidnap Karl Urban and filming his scenes anyway, gorilla style. Put him in the shit!
I just need some accomplice... I mean, I just need helpers. You in?
I adore this movie. Urban seems destined to make things I want to see more of but are underappreciated (Almost Human is the other).
Perfect example of how CGI needs to work. If a film maker uses it they really need to work at it. Always go back to double check it.
I would have loved to see a sequel or a series .cast was perfect, story fit the source material another awesome video man👌🏻
Thanks for writing about it -- a cult classic that is probably going to get rediscovered 20 years from now. Wish it didn't have to suffer the same fate as John Carpenter's THE THING. It's a great movie, right up there near ROBOCOP and DIE HARD.
Jeremiah Kipp Its got a pretty solid fanbase now, a shame the studio doesn't see that.
It's a mortal sin how underrated this masterpiece is.
ANTHRAX!!!!!
Such a perfect way to start the review!
This is definitely one of my favorite comic book movies I've ever seen.
raGdOllsAM there is something about seeing a movie in an empty theater. Makes you feel like a boss
Awesome movie.
Great video. I think this movie is pretty awesome (especially compared to the Stallone one). Also, I love that you start this video with spoken Anthrax lyrics! I laughed out loud a little. Pretty badass choice!
He’s getting a tv series now
It's confirmed? Source please!
ZeroneAngel check out mr h reviews : he is a youtuber who does stuff on dredd, predator and alien franchises and he has interviewed the people working on this show
Thanks a bunch!
I'm not usually a fan of violent movies, but something about Dredd really drew me in and got me to watch it multiple times. It's very well paced, acted and shot.
Anthrax reference in opening the vid? Here, have a like and subscribe.
Thank you!
I paused the video to come post that. Of course, I'm already subbed. Having a blast watching your older videos man. You do a lot of research.
GoodBadFlicks Can you review the Power Rangers movies?
lol he has a bit in the Mortal Kombat review I think a lot of people missed where Shao Khan comes at the end and says "bow to me" and very quickly a text pops up with "faithfully" at the bottom...got my like, not many people would think of a Morbid Angel reference in an internet review show these days, would go over almost everyone's head...
Loved that! And the end, DROK IT! Just saw them again last month in April in Portland. And to reference your Dante's Peak video about living by dormant volcano, love living by these mountains!
It's unbelievably sad this didn't kill at the box. It's so good.
Supposedly they'd introduce Judge Death in a sequel.
+Galactic Specter Hmmmmm... That could work, Follow on with Anderson's training in the Psi-Corp and problems coming from there... Again, also leaves room for more then - A Spin off Anderson Movie maybe?
these are the movie reviews i like, not the distaste or like of a personal opinion. to let the viewer decide if they like that. i praise you good sir
Thanks!
If you liked this you should check out Snowpiercer
PaperClipEntertainme I'm hoping to soon
My god this video made my day! Dread is one of my favorite of all time! Great video!!!!
Are you sure?
i think they both ripped off Die Hard tbh
@@gedeyogam9096 I'm sure. Those pair movies are not just coincidences. Its uncreative Hollywood trolls trying to puke out a shitty version faster so they can say the original movie "stole the idea". The worst is when it was a crappy idea to begin with...
