I actually had this toy from the Country Bear Jamboree as a kid that always terrified me until I got a little older. How funny that you happen to mention how the designs remind you of such a thing.
I think it's extremely interesting that this take on The Mangle winds up having some very fascinating parallels to Ennard from Sister Location. Both are horrific mashups of multiple animatronics with the one controlling it being the spirit of a deceased female child, and both were created with the intention of attacking one of the Aftons children. But Ennard was piloted by Aftons daughter and was attacking a living Afton physically, but bore no ill will towards him and only wished to steal his body. The Mangle, meanwhile, was piloted by one of Aftons victims and was also targeting an Afton, but this time it was the spirit of a deceased Afton rather than the living Afton. And unlike Ennard, Mangle very much bore ill will towards the Afton she was after.
I love how Jr's tries to fit in with the FNAF lore, unlike other games with their spinoff lore takes. It fits in between FNAF 4 and FNAF 2 decently well, but I wonder why FNAF SL isn't mentioned at all either despite Funtime Foxy and Mangle being similar as well.
i feel like the player character being jeremy makes a lot of sense! if cassidy is still inside the mangle when he takes the job at fnaf 2, then that could explain him being the victim of the bite of 87, and mangle being the culprit :)
Personally, I felt like that ending was too abruptly cut short. I feel like there was a bit more to be shown off there but the creator was at a deadline of sorts before they could implement it in fully. As for that arcade cabinet, I don’t think that’s meant to be operational at this time. I think that’s just meant to be for decoration and that’s it. Though I could be wrong and the creator may have something else planned for the game in terms of providing more content. Heck if true, it would be nice to have some interactions with the other spirits implemented. Many have ignored them so much that I don’t know if they have a presence of their own in the game’s main hub.
The note left by Paulbear “It’s me, Paulbear” reminds of the first Fnaf game. In Fnaf 1, Golden Freddy can rarely be seen saying “it’s me”, Paulbear being the crying child makes sense because the crying child is one of the two inhabitants in Golden Freddy, they also just look similar.
These are amongst the best ANIMATRONICS designs I’ve ever seen! Especially MANGLE!! These guys should have been the devs of SECURITY BREACH!! Or making the remake of OG FNAF.
The designs feel like it's straight out of Little Nightmares, I can imagine a abandoned pizzaria area and using these animatronics as the things you would avoid.
This is gonna sound so weird, but the character designs in this game are friggin adorable to me. Something about them is really cute to me. I literally cannot be afraid of them because they're cute.
I really like how the creator decides to fill in the gaps of the story that have been unexplained, like who is Mangle? How did Fnaf 2 come into play? Expanding on unexplained mysteries is so good if done right and if they aren't even true. But I think it might be the whole point of Fnaf, it started off as a horror game that raises so many mysterious questions that have either been answered or not and I think that's why people loved it when it started, a mysterious horror game with so much unexplained questions that people can develop their own theories and stories. And Jr.'s, not only did it decide to expand on unexplained mysteries, but just the design of the animatronics is just so creepy and realistic.
It's fascinating how many years later, a series like FNAF still goes on and fans help expand on the universe. As someone who lived near the first and best CEC in San Jose CA, I've always loved the FNAF series purely by the setup and design alone. Same with JR's here with it's Rockafire-inspired design. I can't really comment on Security Breach because it's all sort of confusing to me that even MatPat's videos can't really clear it up for me, but outside of that I just find it amazing how a game about haunted animatronics continues to impress almost 10 years after it's release, both impress and evolve I should say. I don't play these games not because I don't like horror games, but I've seen Markiplier beat these games on the hardest difficulties and I don't really have the speed/strength for that sort of thing as I used to. These days I kinda prefer to watch and just uncover it all with them. It just feels a lot more fun to join others and piece it together than actually play these games, imo.
These videos help a lot, I don’t really like playing these kind of games and I don’t like horror, but this helps me learn more about the story(the part of a game I like the most) keep it up man love your stuff
These in-depth lore videos which explain the game and story are always my favourite to come watch, you always put great effort into these types of videos and it shows! Maybe one day you can take a crack at the rusty lake/cube escape games because years after playing them for the first time--I know there are parts I don't fully understand and think you'd tackle those games great! Either way, keep up the great work, we're all looking forward to your future content!
Paul Bear - Pallbearer. A pallbearer carries a casket. Clever little fan devs. (For those who don't know, pall and Paul are pronounced the same as well.)
Haven't finished the video yet but worth mentioning in case it isn't in the narration: A 'pall bearer' (paulbear) is a person tasked with carrying the coffin to the grave site during a funeral. EDIT: You mentioned it!! Glad you caught that too! :D
I'm gonna go against everyone and say that the ghost is Charlie, NOT Cassidy. My reasoning is that Charlie and Evan both were well before the five missing kids, of which Cassidy was a part of. I honestly believe that Charlie probably changed over the course of the years between her death and FN@F 2. It was surprising to me that she wasn't angry in UCN. It only makes sense in my mind that she realized during the events of this game that she was doing more harm by being irrationally angry.
@@alphaisyeeting4880 Do we really know that? Charlie would have to come first in the timeline so the FN@F 2 minigame, Give Gifts, Give Life, would make sense. Since no-one knows what happened between Fredbear's, where Charlie died, and FN@F 2, this could be a plausible answer. Of course, ALL of this is thrown into question when taking into consideration the newest theory: Many of the first games are more than likely fabricated due to Fazbear Entertainment.
@@TheSh1nyZoroark One of the only descriptions we have of her though is that she would always try to help others (Pizza Sim). True it was her dad saying that and maybe being dead can change a person, but there is so little that's directly stated in FNAF (and fewer characters that are directly described) that I don't think we should totally discard it.
I believe the mangle from Jr still lived with another soul in it and after five years most of its body parts fell off or torn off by people just in an attempt to fix the other animetronics but the main endoskeleton of the male still re.ained and it became the one in fnaf2
I do want to mention, if this location does become the fnaf2 location then that means this game takes place in 1982 as shown by the ending text saying 5 years later it got rebranded. This means that crying child can't be paulbear because he died in 83, a year after this game takes place.
I agree that this game has to be a prequel to FNAF 2 and a sequel to FNAF 4. The creators of Jr's did a fantastic job piecing this story together. Now we have an idea of what happened after the events of FNAF 4.
11:00 This is so dang awesome yet terrifying. Mangle here looks so realistic like this was a real recording of her. Even the roar she gives when you flash the light on her is so haunting.
I just realized that the final texts are the se exact words that the Phone Guy in FNaF 2 would say in the beginning of night 1! Man, clever segway and story telling.
Its still possible that Paulbear could be the crying child. But one of the devs confirmed that The Ghost’s name has the initials J.R. meaning that she can’t be Cassidy.
I like how this plays as the prequel to fnaf 2. My only issue is how through maze runner and mangle's sounds as jumbled code and dog sounds you find out that it's chicas child's soul's dog, or at least how i think it was

And the iconic music too AAAA I LOVE IT
I think the Crying Child Paulbear theory holds up but its kinda a jump to assume Paulbear was a child immediately (probably bc of his size). Cassidy wouldn't have motive to chase after him all those years and his size in a bear "costume" may have just been due to trying to seem unthreatening to the protag while he is hiding in his mind. I think there is evidence enough to not quite rule out William Afton from the pool of characters, esp since the note left makes it seem that he is much craftier than meets the eye.
It’s pretty suspicious to me how Paulbear sounds a crazy amount similar to the words “pall bear” which means to carry somebody’s coffin. I’m wondering what Paulbear’s vested interest is in sending this guy to check out Jr.’s. Maybe he could be leading the protagonist to his death, or maybe he’s some sort of psychopomp (spirit, deity or entity that guides people to the afterlife)
I really like the way your content is based out Superhorrorbro. Its a mix of both Gameplay and Theroys/storys of games explained, it's really cool on how after playing a game, you go into details and analyisis of the BTS or the Story of how that games small story came to be. it's honestly a cool concept and thing. as well as whta makes me love tuning into SuperHorrorBro every once in a while.
Ok just imagine with me, what if the ghost isn't Cassidy but is instead Charlie from the books since her death and Evans death happened before the five missing children and Cassidy, and perhaps the reason she is so upset with Evan is that instead of trying to stop William as she did all he did was hide away, allowing his fear to keep him trapped in the barrins. I saw someone else in this comment section come up with something similar and it got me thinking, it's a small personal theory I came up with on the spot

Not sure if the game as anything to do with the fnaf lore since it is fan made
Jeremy wasn't fired. That was Fritz Smith. At the end of FNAF 2, Jeremy was moved over to the day shift where he (presumably) ended up being the Bite of 87 victim.
No Way;
Jeremy is a Paranormal Investigator who Helped C.C. to Deal with Cassidy!
I love how Paul bear can just return from the afterlife to help his bud out whenever. It’s kinda funny and cute also i can imagine a little bear descending from the heavens in a glorious heavenly light to solve a missing ketchup bottle caee lol
Im in love with the designs. It reminds me of the Country Bear Jamboree mostly. A design that an adult thinks a child will like, but would actually be terrifying in the eyes of a child.
If I was like a 7yr old and I saw the JR's animatronic designs, I'd be running away faster than Flash entering the Speedforce.
I actually had this toy from the Country Bear Jamboree as a kid that always terrified me until I got a little older. How funny that you happen to mention how the designs remind you of such a thing.
Honestly, I can’t get enough of your videos! I can watch the same one repeatedly and never get sick of it! Keep up the brilliant work, Mike!
Dang! They made the crew look more realistic and way more creepy! Makes you think about how long it’s been since the first FNAF

I can't believe this is the first time you did a story explained on a fnaf fan game.
i feel like the player character being jeremy makes a lot of sense! if cassidy is still inside the mangle when he takes the job at fnaf 2, then that could explain him being the victim of the bite of 87, and mangle being the culprit :)
What do ya personally think what else was going to happen?
Just a question for ya! :D
I understand what ya mean now-
You can go out into the barrens further than Paulbear's area, but you'll get attacked by corrupted spirits if you do.
@Grandaldore yes, as were a couple of other lead devs on other games.
@@Hunter-ze3my Well this is news to me. Never heard of anything of this.🤔
The note left by Paulbear “It’s me, Paulbear” reminds of the first Fnaf game.
DUDDE R U A BOT
Nah cap they be lookin like something that came from a meatcanyon video
🤨
💀
@@StarRaider12345 Nope. I just think they're cute.
Nice to see a FNAF fangame with a more happy ending.
The Mangle was just a robot, wasn't she?
Holy crap, the graphics and animation in this game are absolutely gorgeous
I love the extras explaining their idea and reasons with their designs.
They look like the fan art of FNAF as a Don Bluth movie made 3D.
this man has single handledly figured out every fnaf fan game lore
JR’s feels so much more unique, mechanically and artistically (compared to other FNAF fan games)
I really like the art style for this fan game, the massive teeth and real looking fur and fleshly outer layer of the animatronics is really unsettling
@Joshua Ryder that's what I like about it, it really amps up the creepy factor
Paul Bear - Pallbearer. A pallbearer carries a casket. Clever little fan devs. (For those who don't know, pall and Paul are pronounced the same as well.)
This was the first FNAF fan game in awhile that kept my interest. Good story and some unique mechanics.
Haven't finished the video yet but worth mentioning in case it isn't in the narration:
A 'pall bearer' (paulbear) is a person tasked with carrying the coffin to the grave site during a funeral.
EDIT: You mentioned it!! Glad you caught that too! :D
WAIT. . .
PAULBEAR WAS EVAN/CHRIS AFTON & THE GHOST WAS CASSIDY?!!
Never Would've seen THAT twist coming!!
This game and the art style is absolutely refreshing.
Agreed!
1:04 I love the artstyle so much
If you love deep lore in horror games, superhorrorbro is the channel for you!
there's a pretty creepy secret if you go too far away from the barrens the music will stop and if you continue a creature will appear
I like how this ghost is also similar to the one in Sister Locationsince both of them use the parts of other animatronics to build an even bigger one.
@⁺⓵⓸⓪⓸⓽⓼⓻⓪⓵⓺⓵SupperHorrorbro NOT THE SCAM BOT 😭
Hell yeah I loved the game and the mangle is a beast way bigger then in actual fnaf lore also love this vid keep it up
Even if I've never seen a game, I can still watch Mike's Story Explained videos all day :)
Fun fact the juniors location was actually mentioned in five nights at Freddy’s six during the midnight motorist mini game
Jr's literally feels like an official game made by Scott. It's that good!
I always loved it how he explained the story, his voice is a perfect fit to explained the story.
*It’s always a good day when superhorrorbro uploads*

My jaw dropped when I saw this line of Jeremy. This is why I like this game.
Nice theory I think everyone’s under the assumption that it’s cassidy because she’s usually portrayed as the evil spirit out of all the kids
The thing is we all know Charlie would NEVER have this kind of aggressive behaviour.
@@TheSh1nyZoroark Valid points there.
When you yelled Freddy's name i thought of this:
"Freddy you are seposed to be on lockdown."
And then every single meme imaginable from it
I believe the mangle from Jr still lived with another soul in it and after five years most of its body parts fell off or torn off by people just in an attempt to fix the other animetronics but the main endoskeleton of the male still re.ained and it became the one in fnaf2
The idea of mangle being or part of the antagonist is a strange but good idea
Why is balloon boy so realistic. I am genuinely terrified just by seeing that one part in the intro
This developer wins. Give them the franchise.
This is what FNAF was capable of under a competent developer.
This is probably the scariest fnaf fan game by far
Hats off to whoever designed and modeled all the animatronics, because JESUS *CHRIST*
14:07 ⚠
Oh my gosh I did not realized about Paulbear's Name
Very good deduction there👍
I've missed these. Feels like forever since you've made a lore video.
This game and it’s lore were so surreal to me that I almost forgot it’s a fan game 😭🙏
I do want to mention, if this location does become the fnaf2 location then that means this game takes place in 1982 as shown by the ending text saying 5 years later it got rebranded. This means that crying child can't be paulbear because he died in 83, a year after this game takes place.
Part of me wonders if that was straight up just a math error on the developers part...
Can we just appreciate the SHEER amount of detail in this game. Like seriously whoever developed this did an amazing job.
I agree that this game has to be a prequel to FNAF 2 and a sequel to FNAF 4. The creators of Jr's did a fantastic job piecing this story together. Now we have an idea of what happened after the events of FNAF 4.
The Jr animatronics are so much more creepier then the original Fnaf
Man, i realy hope that this fangame will have a sequel...
Yeah, about that
I don’t think that’ll happen, sadly
@@tess3554 oh no what why
@@tess3554 why
I like how he says sit back and relax but I can’t relax cause there’s a creepy ballon boy doll looking at me
I really like the designs for this game. Freddy specifically reminds me of the design for Pooh in the Blood and Honey horror movie
You dont know how long I've waited for you to make an explanation video!!!
Paul bear-paulbearers from funerals, fun reference to him being dead
I like how this plays as the prequel to fnaf 2. My only issue is how through maze runner and mangle's sounds as jumbled code and dog sounds you find out that it's chicas child's soul's dog, or at least how i think it was
This was a really good video! I’d enjoy if you did one on all of the FNAF lore
Hey SuperHorrorBro, you probably won't see this but I wanted to say I've been here for a while, and I really enjoy your content. I'm glad you're able to share your wonderful personality and engaging content on this platform, and keep up the good work. By the way, if you enjoy a good fnaf fan game I would recommend the Glitched Attraction
_*Finally, an NPC who admits he’s too scared to do the adventure himself instead of making an excuse about it. I respect you, Paulbear._
I love the story explain videos cause I'm too afraid to play the game and I personally dont like to watch gameplays and neither have money to buy the games, and he explains it in such a way that makes me wanna watch the story explained videos that I've already watch!! And the iconic music too AAAA I LOVE IT
These animatronic designs are so cool and terrifying, I love them. The uncanny cartoon feeling just adds to the terror
I love the storyline details with this one
Jr's looks like the main the game more than a fan game
This fanmade game is even more terrifying then the original
those are some of the most unsettling animatronic designs I've seen
this game was really well done. if they make a sequel i know it will be fire. well done to the team/ person that made this
this witoute a doubt is the best horror channel ive ever seen
I like the idea of the mangle being so much more significant
I started laughing with happiness when I saw the "spent a fortune on these new animatronics". It made me so happy!
I feel like episode 2 implies Freddy is getting therapy and Bonnie is the therapist and the Mangle speaks to Freddy and then the ghost goes to Bonnie
The difference of using a Bonnie mask instead of a Freddy head was smart!
