Hey man I’ve been waving for over a week and I’ve been seeing progress but I cut my Afro to get short hair and my waves look visible but they cause bald spot and etc my hair can’t even be combed did I cut it to short
It’s actually natural for those slight patches to occur after having long hair for so long I recently cut my dreads and I had the same issue after a month my hair grew back and filled in

wait so do you continue to apply the products that helps support them everyday or do you just rely on the brush and durag after?
You should be brushing your hair and wearing your durag every day, but as far as applying products, go only do that maybe about three times a week.

Can u get waves without products?
You can get products without waves but the products you use will enhance your waves. It doesn’t give you waves. Brushing with good angles gives you flawless waves.
Yes but products make the process faster. You don’t wanna make the mistake of using too much product or relying on instead of consistent brushing. Brushing should always be the foundation of your hair care regimen and the less products you use the better imo.
