I agree..the Knife Connection rocks. I just ordered a set of scales for my old Ontario ED9 today. I've ordered a ton of knives from the in the past as well. They're great!

The whole Essee 6 package with the molle sheath and pouch is still one of the best survival knives you can buy. Even with all the super steels out. In real world survival you are going to want that 1095 just because you can maintain the blade easy. Once the super steel goes dull it would be extremely difficult to sharpen if you’re actually I in a survival situation

I've got a 5 and Junglas and now Guess I'm going to have to get a 6. I've just heard so many good things about it. The KC is where I shop for Esee also. Thanks 👍

Those contoured scales make the difference for sure. The forward choil is perfect and so is Esees warranty! Sweet knife man!🔥🔪👊

Check out the architect 6.5 in 3v. Has the exact same handle as the esee 6

TKC has a kydex sheath with leather backer on their site for the E6 I saw the other day I 👍. Think one is in my future. Thanks for the review. 🇺🇲🔪🔥🌲

Did you strip off the black coating yourself or did it just come off naturally from use?

Get an SRK in 3V or an Architect Field Buddy 6.5 in 3V.
Much better choices.
