@@calvinavila7989 it was mostly his immaturity and lack of leadership in Boston. Also felt like he was more about showtime than production. I don’t typically like shoot-first PG’s, and that’s how I saw him. And my favorite PGs play defense. But I’ve since seen that I misunderstood him. I was wrong about his game and his character… And he’s definitely grown up since Boston. I think LeBron was a bad influence on him (for leadership style) and after Boston, he became his own man.

Kyrie has been a pioneer on and off the court. He will be remembered as someone like Muhammad Ali, and people ridiculed me for saying that, but the more time passes the more it gets obvious that this guy is into the truth and didn't shy away from sharing it and handling it like a boss

I agree, Irving is too smart. Unfortunately the big apple is not as open intellectually as it prides itself on.

The Kyrie situation in retrospect reminds me of Jordan Peterson‘s stand against free speech laws up in Canada, which jp became famous over

I will give Stephen A. some credit. He at least sat down with Clay Travis and that was a no no in all the sports and liberal media's eyes. He had a lot of pressure to not do it but at least he stood up against the bullies and shared an exchange of ideas, more that this nation needs

kyrie irving is thriving playing for the franchise that's valuing him appropriately. I would want to work for the organization that values me a lot, nobody want to work for a company that treats you like dirt.
He said "ill stay IF you will have me" guess what? Boston didn't want him, they wanted jason tatum and jalen brown. Dont put that on kyrie lol
Same with Brooklyn, he wanted to stay there but they didn't want kyrie, they wanted KD only. Not only did they only want KD and treated Kyrie like a package deal, they were demanding all these ridiculous things from him. Would you want to work for a boss that treats you like cattle?

The criticism didn’t start with Boston. It started with his leaving the leagues “chosen one” without saying he wanted out because he learned Lebron was trying to get him out of Cleveland for Chris Paul. It continued when he encouraged the NBA players association to vote against the bubble and his support financially of the WNBA financially ($1.5 million) when they refused to play in support of social Justice protest.

They wanted him to do something they had all done but knew he was right not to do , so they attacked him on some stupid stuff so they can feel better about themselves❤.

Listening to Kyrie Irving’s postgame interviews has been a huge highlight for me this year. He’s an extremely positive person it’s only the narratives that make him seem any other way.
