I'm late to this watch. Marc over at Long Island Watch just posted a video on them which got me interested. This watch is a Home Run! I really like it! I think I'm going to have to pick one up. Nice review!
If anyone was wondering I'm pretty sure the colors on the chapter ring are a depth gauge. I'm not entirely sure how it works but the colors do serve a purpose.
I get the functionality of the multicolor chapter ring as a depth guage for real divers..but for everyday desk diving time telling....I just can't get behind looking at a rainbow on my wrist all day. Wish NTH had versions without it. $525 for NH35 seems a bit pricey tho.
You did a review of a Luminox 3050 awhile back that you replaced the movement in. Could you offer me any assistance on how I may be able to do that myself? Thank you
Amazing watch. But that bracelet is overkill. Too hefty. IMO, a BOR would've looked much nicer since there are similarities with the Doxa sub 300, but then this watch would be treated as a homage 🤔
@@RandomRobReviews I really don't understand this fashion amongst watch brands (mostly micros to be fair) for adding more and more depth - literally! - to their watches. Every extra 100m they add results in another mm in height. Who really needs more than 200m WR anyway?! For me, the height of the watch is equally important to the lug to lug distance when deciding on whether a watch is suitable or not.
original models had a swiss movement, what a shame they went wit a NH35 cheap movement on this newest version. i would pay the difference for the swiss movement and slim down the thickness under 14mm
Ha! You won’t get anything near the build and finishing quality at $50. I think we can afford to show these microbrands a bit more respect than to compare them to Ali Express 🤦♂️
Nice enough watch but very poor movement for the price. Jesus the guy that owns the company doesn't like any criticism. Lol All NTH are overpriced and under produced. It's no wonder they are micro brands they cant be bothered to produce enough to meet demand
That’s really not how this gig works. No one has to like or buy the watch, and there’s also no need to get bent out of shape if it’s not your cup of tea.
The movements are all checked and regulated by NTH before being put in the watch case. I would rather have this movement that is a very reliable ‘workhorse’ that keeps running, and is very cheap to buy and replace if you ever need to, but these movements last for years and years without costly servicing fees. Some hate them for their own reasons, but I love them for the reasons mentioned.

Yes correct. I also don’t know. Think it’s the depth of how much BS your boss is giving you as you desk dive.
A type of depth gauge- the colors fade as the diver goes deeper, red fades first & so on. Of course color loss at what depth needs to be known.
I just got the blue dial variant, 100% a home run. And I normally wouldn’t mention it, but watchguage is an awesome place to buy from.
If ya wanna see the blue dial up close it’s on my insta dinner_workingsly
Wow. Good looking watch. Like the whole look and layout of that dial

It looks like an “OCEAN CRAWLER” watch
Nice! Thanks Watchguage.
👍
Good price too.
But why are the NTH subs so much more? Probably the movement.
Note the Seiko monster chapter ring 4:30.
They should do a jade dial!

Add one to the list, any discounts out there?
I don't know much about the NH 35 movement is it a good one ? I've seen it in much cheaper Watches !
Nh35 rocks, super sturdy, accurate. You’ll love it.
I got the no date in blue with the NH-38 and surprizigly it is the most accurate machanical watch i have ever owned @+0.8 sec per day.
I just reviewed the Stingray, perhaps they are enemies! haha
That price is difficult to understand. I would love to grab one of these!

Very cool Rob.
Make a 200m version of this that's 12.5mm thick and I'd get one.
I like the way you think

Wow, that is sexy! Incredible design!

The pictures on their website don't do this version justice . Interested to see the blue and the white one in real life.
So true, maybe I will bring them in soon.
@@RandomRobReviews That would be great thx in advance!
I gotta get my hands on an NTH someday.
That’s a nice watch. This could be a purchase one day.
Makes me want to trade this for my SRPA 21 👍
Sold!
I would be expecting ETA or Sellita movement for that price. NH35 can be found in $50 AliExpress watches.

@@redletterl78 Pagani design and Cadisen both have quite good build quality
My NH-38 on the no date version Is @ +0.8 sec per day.
you still don't understand that the entire Swiss watch industry is playing a game on us?!
@@masterg7895 If I want accuracy I'll wear a quartz watch.
I don‘t like the bracelet and the colors on the chapter ring.
NH35 umm! Overpriced, a little.
Wearing the blue today. Prefer original bracelet to the new one
Nice!
$525 for NH35? LOL. who goes down to 500 meters anyway?

Movement makes this a no go for me, seriously?
Not a big fan of that dial and shape (turtle shell).. too chunky
That Lume is killer though.
Never go wrong with c3x1 lume
You can get different grades of Super-LumiNova, the grade X1 Super-LumiNova that NTH use is the best.
