I loved the nose very deep and rich, excellent mouth feel with lots of brownie edge, chocolate, and peanut butter cookie on the palate. Best batch of the year for sure
I’m really new to bourbon but, not quite so new that I didn’t know what this was when I saw it in store. I now have this as my highest proof bourbon (I have a 151 rum) and my first ever ECBP.
I’d recommend jack daniels single barrel barrel proof as a high proof whiskey to add to the collection! Welcome to the bourbon world, it’s a good time.
Thanks buddy! ECPB are, hands down, my fav pours from the "allocated but sometimes findable" bourbons. Unfortunately the huge community love for C923 has made it harder to find for a bit...hoping that cools off. If i see this one, am snagging! Take Care!!!
Thanks for talking about the spice. The B batch was a bit of a letdown for me. I couldn't get down with how spicy it came off even after letting it breathe for a few weeks. I love ECBP and usually enjoy every batch but I didn't jive with this year's B. Cheers!
Hear me out. I buy these bottles. Me, you and Jason C taste them. We could do 3 different recordings at the same time on annual “easier” to get releases and make this super interesting for everyone. I believe I’d land more middle of the road if you guys. All I’m saying is think about it. Because I think you both do a great job. And I’d be a solid bridge between the two. Although I like scotch more than Jason C.
@@DrumsAndDrams the difference in profile in the EC B524 and C924 made me wonder if it would be cool to go a little crazy and mix in the Larceny batches.
@@joenovak6393 two very different pours. I like em both and yes would admittedly prefer the profile of C923, but this one has a really flavorful and dense palate that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Y'all need to learn how to keep your expectations low. Lamenting on C923 and using that as the gold standard isn't going to help. Older ECBP (pirate bottles) were something special and it set the standard for ECBP, but not everyone had the privilege to tried them.

You got the good laser code it sounds like!
I guess so!! 😂
Thanks for putting this out, Cam! Not the biggest fan of peanut-y flavors, so I'm fine with passing on this. Glad I can leave the FOMO behind.
Waiting on my bottle to show up still. Hoping the dark caramel outshines the peanut enough I like it. Thanks for the great review, Cam.
Sounds like a buy! For me anyway. Thanks for the review. Straight and to the point!
man giving some great notes! come on 10k!!
Sounds nice. Ill definitely be picking one up.

Nice review, I bet it’s heaven on the rocks!
Seconding some others, if you do a blind I vote for the past 3 C batches. So C922, C923 and this C924
I’m watching for this one. Sounds very good.
I need to go get one.

Peanut butter and Jelly cookie with baking spices
Will you be doing a best EC 2024 blind of A, B, and C?
Automatic buy when it lands in my neck of the woods.
Is it buy and back up good if you like nutty
@@justinvandee9428 I’d say so, especially at SRP.
Is it worth mixing in the recent Larceny batches as well?
I think the profiles are too different but I guess I’ve never tried it.. hmm

Cam --- I know that you wanted to keep the review short, but you really need to share the age statement and proof of the bottle! Thanks!

I know, right when I said to myself that I'll probably skip this one, Cam makes me rethink it.
Maybe Jason and Cam got different laser codes 🤣
Make laser codes great again 😂😂😂
@@DrumsAndDramsThat was my 1st thought watching these reviews back to back
Nice review! Store owner friend lets me have them for 55.00 bucks so I’m buying:)
It's a Hard Pass and a BIG miss from C923.
