Sorry, I don't fully understand the comment here. At the moment, Corona tone mapping settings are not transferred to Vantage, and you'd set up your desired tone mapping once over in Vantage either making it match what was seen in Corona, or coming up with something different if you have a different use-case for the real time renders vs. offline ones. Tweaking tone mapping once in Vantage doesn't make it not a "real comparison" (as you'd need to redo any tone mapping in any real time / GPU engine you translated a scene to). Not sure what you mean, I am going to guess "why is this faster" - and that's because it's GPU based. On the other hand, it's not as good as IR because it doesn't have the same level of realism and full support of all materials Corona supports, so that's the trade off you have to choose between depending on where you are in the project / what kind of project it is, and what your needs are. hello .. usually when install corona i put material library file with installation .. in this update there is no extract for the material file in the installation .. is that mean there is no material library from now ? (offline-method)
The Corona Material Library is now available inside Cosmos, so it is not included in the installer. If you have it installed from a previous version of Corona, then it will still be installed after running the new installer (it doesn't get uninstalled). If for some reason it has been uninstalled, then a download button will be shown on opening the Corona Material Library from inside 3ds Max or Cinema 4D. Thanks! Tom

Vantage doesn't support all materials (that is, not every material is implemented in Vantage, in which case we can't export the material to it), and in some cases Vantage does support the material but we don't export to it yet. You can check the list of shaders at docs.chaos.com/display/LAV/Supported+Features+per+Host+App - see those supported by V-Ray, because if it is not supported there then most likely Vantage simply doesn't offer support for it so we can't either (docs.chaos.com/display/LAV/V-Ray+for+3ds+Max+Features ) and then supported materials for Corona (docs.chaos.com/display/LAV/Corona+for+3ds+Max+Features ). Things will keep improving over time in both categories, in terms of what is supported. Thanks! Tom

When will a company of this size start producing decent material to promote their expensive software? This is not a minimally adequate presentation video.
