Yamaha XS400 ('81 SOHC) Basketcase teardown

For the new year (Jan 2021) i invested $300 into a basket case motorcycle project.. i already own a yamaha XS650 so the XS400 was an interesting option when i was shopping around.
The engine had been torn down previously so the top end was loosly bolted together while missing a few nuts, bolts and washers was close to a conplete settup.
Upon closer inspection the head revealed 1 blown exhaust valve and a fairly damaged piston...
The project came with and OEM piston in the box, 2 new exhaust valves and a full gasket and O-ring set to complete the rebuild!
