Dude your deck looks solid and super clean! I also have a '90 Skeeter SD125! It was an early birthday present and its my first boat so your videos are gonna be a guide for me!
I have a similar situation. I spent alot of time and money on my glasstream bass boat. I got a trolling motor tray. New carpet. Sanded and waxed whole boat. Livewell pump. New electronics. New wheels. New tires. New batteries. Spent a bunch getting the motor reliable. All that and I didn’t replace the bunks yet. That was the next thing. Next tournament bout sunk it cause a bolt went through the bunk and put a hole in it. Make sure to get new bunks on these old boats. I have $500-1000 I coulda spent elsewhere but nope gotta fix the boat cause of my negligence.
Are there any tips or things you think I should check on the boat? It's in good shape but the floor gives a little. I got the boat around December and I've had it out once and everything seemed to work how it should.
So you made it in a way that your fmdeck extension is removable?? Are you just lifting it out or do you have it actually screwed into the fiberglass inside? I’m trying to do the same thing and extended my deck took a couple screen shots of your frame work it looks really sturdy but really curious how you had it in then had it out and back in I’m like huh? If you can get back to me thanks buddy!! Boat is looking good man I’ve pretty much did all them at same stuff on my project! Sure is satisfying seeing your progress when doing this kinda work keep it up man
No, it is not removable. I just mached it up in the boat and then took it back out to epoxy coat everything. I have had it out now several times and seems to be holding up pretty good. I need to do another video showing the finished product.
Hell yea brother love the work u did yourself. Just curious why u did all that work to the new floor but u didn't take out all the old first and then did the work u did last. It just would of made sense to make the foundation of it nice before putting more weight and shit on top of it.😂😂😂 just my 2 cents.. Turned out alright for what it is and who it's for I guess Lmfao. Anywho keep up the great work and content. We'll I guess it shows that ur not doing anymore content cuz of how long its been since u posted anything. But much love to ya from Maryland❤❤❤.

I’m adding more deck like what you have done next.
That deck is killer! Nice job bro!
Thank you, its still holding up
No foam under deck? My old boat has foam everywhere.

Just put an update of the boat up at that link
Framing that front deck extension out of angle aluminum would have cut your weight to 1/3
