Hey John! Thanks so much for watching man. Im glad you enjoyed the video it was super fun to film and make. Hope to see you around in the comments more often on our other upcoming adventures :)
Hi Tony! This was an incredible experience to watch! I loved how you mentioned the location details in the lower thirds. You both are extremely likeable and fun to watch! :) A question - Do you think it would be this foggy & chilly in the month of December? Would you suggest doing this loop and giving it a shot coz we are considering to opt for this and skip Dalat in the South. Thanks again! Liked and subbed! :D
Dude comments like this makes my day. I call it edutainment ! Haha providing value that is entertaining :) I’m gonna have to say both places are a very different experience. Dalat is beautiful with a nice romantic charm to the town with lots of waterfalls, hikes, Adrenalin filled activities. Where as Ha Giang is filled with glimpses of the tribes, and insane views unlike anything you’ve seen before! Make sure you watch the other videos in my Ha Giang Series to fully grasps what the road trip entails. It’s going to be really cold in Ha Giang (like I mean I wore my entire suitcase of shirts and bought extra layers of jackets and rain coats / paints / shoe covers (just in case) but it was well worth it. Some parts were foggy but for the most part we were treated with tons of beauty. I’d say it’s worth it ! I did it end of Jan and would love to do it again when I’m back but during the summer rainy season months! P.S the rain wasn’t too much during my time but the fog did leave water droplets on our jackets hence full coverage cause it’s cold af.
@@TonyOi Thanks so much for the reply and your inputs! Surely helps! And I already binged the other episodes from your Ha Giang series, haha! Can you tell me where did you rent the bikes from? Would you suggest to do the loop by ourselves or should we do it through some tour package that can pick us up from Hanoi? We're gonna be in Vietnam from December 22 to January 7. Have planned to give 2 days to Hanoi, 22nd and 23rd and depart to Ha Giang on 23rd night and start the loop on 24th. :) Do the hostels/homestays allow us to keep our excess luggage with them as we do plan to come back to Hanoi after the loop? (We're extremely concerned about this). Thanks so much for your time!
@@TheBhavyaShah hey hey, we are planning to do the ha giang loop during almost the same dates as you, 22nd dec-24th dec.. did you end up doing the tour? did you manage to see the views beautifully or was it limited by foggy conditions? Thanks! :)
Totally possible! we packed our clothes into 1 bag together and it was strapped on a big rack on the back so plently of room for two people. Plus we wanted to be able to share moments together that we might not have if we were alone, so that was the biggest reason we drove together :) We never complained about 2 people on the entire 5 day drive we did. We had to go from Cao Bang to Ha giang to start the loop and that was 10 hours of driving (Same bike). So if we didn't complain about it im sure you'll have a fine time :)

Hi Tony- Great vid! Silly question but how comfortable was it for 2 people on 1 bike for this route? Totally possible?
