It's not the door handles. It's the plastic ends on the cables that break and no longer pull on the latch. I suggest you buy the metal ones to repair it. As Ford wants $300.00 for the cable. And the metal ones are $6.00 for a pack of 6. I would do all of them before I cover up them doors.
It was about six months of nights and weekends. The pace picked up quite a bit in the past three months, I bet we could have done it in 4-5. But it was like, eat dinner at 5:30, go to the garage until 1AM on repeat for a little while there !

Awesome built !!!
I also want to do the same built , question: how much did you spend on the built ...??
Thank nick.
I think it was around $5k all in. I saved the receipts so I could tally it all up but haven’t gone through it yet.

Also I know that you did that almost by yourself, how long did it take you to built ...??

So how do you like the Nomad internet?
It has worked great for us for a full year from coast to coast. We’ve got Starlink for when we’re very remote, but it’s the backup.
But where is your son sleeping?
