- In this episode of Combat Approved, we will show you the self-propelled gun with the longest range and highest rate of fire in the world. This vehicle was demonstrated only once - at the famous 70th Anniversary Victory Parade. It has never been shown to the public before or after. Meanwhile, it is one of the most modern self-propelled artillery guns in the world, which is called SPG Koalitsiya in the official documents. Zvezda TV viewers will see for the first time how the projectile of the Koalitsiya is fired and how the unique fire adjustment system works. They will learn what a sniper shot from a 152 mm gun means and how to operate the most advanced self-propelled gun with a controller.

I’m from Portugal, I can’t understand a sheet of Russian, but the clima the voice in Russian create, is outstanding. I suggest for that voice including embedded translation to English. Was god.

Not everything is correct. If we consider that the maximum firing range of the tank is 10 kilometers, and the sighting range is much less, and the coalition has a sighting range of 70 kilometers, then the difference is very large. So you're not right about everything.

I was watching one of their early episodes, I think it was on the Mi-28, and the voice actor they used sounded more normal. I guess they thought it wasn't hardcore enough so they switched to this guy. I don't really mind this voice, it's kinda funny at first but you do get used to it. It's certainly distinct.

So? No artillery fires an ATV crusiing around. They are preaiming points. When scout reports Convoy of 2 tanks and 6 armored vehicles closing to point 144 from 142 they open fire.
They aren't aiming a single tank with 20-30-40 seconds fly time.
This exactly happened yesterday, when 1 Russian tank holded the convoy. Artillery fired. They dispersed to evade, ran to mines. The tank shot them. Then retreated, reloaded, then returned and shot them again. Meanwhile infantry with RPGs shoot and automated preaimed grenade launchers.
Or also yesterday the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, ~38km from Russia was hit in Kharkiv. Single shell. Since i doubt the SPG was parking on the border more likely it was shooting from 50km.

Could have been 2S7M or 2C7M too, at maximum range. But the explosion wasn't that huge, so my assumption is this was the firing SPG not the 203mm ones.

Por otra parte ( sin ánimo de ofender) si el Ejército Español se llega a ver enfrentado a los rusos en combate directo ( digamos, en los Pirinéos) es que la guerra se peleó muy, muy mal...

I was thinking of something like 170-180 mm? 152 mm is a great caliber, but it's been optimized about as much as it can be. Russian Army needs more power in their shells.

Range it depends on the ammo, but its reported to be 80km+
G6 range is achieved using assisted rounds. Max range for the 155-mm Frag-HE BB, M1 HE ammo the G6 uses, is 39.000 meters. Pretty much the same than previous gen russian SPG ( Msta-S)
Seems that Rheinmetall record was conducted with special cannon fixed to the ground and with special ammunition...
