Come along with me for another vlog. I’m sure you can tell my the title, it’s about me managing life after a break up. In this video, I took a day trip to New York City but i wasnt able to truly escape the sadness. 😕
This video was by far the most difficult for me to post. Watching the old footage from February was extremely triggering for me and honestly, I’m really nervous about sharing this side of myself on the internet. Nevertheless, on this channel I want to offer you all transparency.
In highlight, I recognize that I masked my emotions a lot in my day to day life. But, behind the scenes I was attending weekly therapy sessions, going to the gym religiously, I was reading a lot of books on relationships, and I started vlogging more seriously to distract myself from the pain.
Im uploading this video in hopes to connect with others who may be dealing with the same issues and to find other individuals that can offer support and words of encouragement to those that need it.
Remember to prioritize your mental health and surround yourself with individuals that make you feel seen, safe, and secure. 🫶🏽

Dealt with a breakup a year and a half ago, together for three, me no kids ,her two. It was a blessing but do to me being comfortable and adding unnecessary stress into her life it felt like she was taking care of three children. I will definitely step up and take accountability for my actions, at the same time going through therapy beginning my journey a year ago has made me feel absolutely amazing, I was taught not to believe in therapy,but if it wasn't for God speaking to me advising me to take that first step I wouldn't know where I'd end up after that breakup. Now one week away from graduation for a major airline company ,I see the blessings starting to come in , I appreciate you and your TH-cam journey allowing us a glimpse of your life, we appreciate you, I appreciate you and as a single man I hope I can be blessed with a woman of your caliber. Hey Michael, thank you for sharing about your experience. I’m glad you were able to grow since your last relationship. More importantly, your elf awareness and accountability for your actions is admirable. Sometimes people are put in our life for a season. One of the things that i struggle with is accepting the lesson while releasing the person that taught me the lesson. Your feelings were and are valid in that relationship it’s unfortunate that’s things didn’t work out. Ima big believer in that God makes us go through things that 1.) we can handle and 2.) things that makes us not only better but stronger. Wow, thank you so much for this video. You never know what people are going through and I just went through a similar situation last month. I broke up with my ex. This was my choice. I felt like I was wasting my time and I felt like my time was being wasted and mental health is so important. I agree with everything you’re saying. I think we put so much into relationships. We forget about ourselves and for me it was definitely a wake up call. You have to protect yourself.Now that I think on it when I was trying to have a decent conversation with my ex like an adults and ending the relationship, they took it to another approach and try to make it my fault and that I was the issue when they weren’t committed to the relationship.
Ladies protect yourself, protect your heart don’t let anybody dim your light/spirit to make themselves feel better. At the end of the day. I woke up and ended it and I feel so much better for it and I’m gonna use this time for me. I’m gonna find myself again. i’m gonna put myself first and asked difficult question in the beginning so we’re on the same .❤❤❤❤✈️🫶🏽

It’s kind of mind blowing how so many of us share similar experiences and we truly never really know. I love that you’re in a better mental space and you’re dedicated to putting yourself and your happiness first. You truly deserve to be happy and fulfilled in life. Although my break up was heartbreaking, I’m grateful for the experience. It taught me so much and helped me recognize and develop better self esteem. I began pouring myself into my creative hobbies, going to the gym, attending therapy consistently, and started posting on my TH-cam channel. Although the experience was difficult, it pushed me into becoming the woman I am today. Ultimately, God removed one person from my life and blessed me with this amazing family on TH-cam. I’m so grateful for you all.
