Why I fled Syria in search of a better life for my children | UNICEF

After her 4-year-old son was killed in a bomb blast, Naham and her family fled Syria to give her children a better life. Naham and her three remaining children have now reached a centre for migrants and refugees in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. "We fled because we were afraid. Not afraid of dying but fear for our children, for their futures, for their minds," she says.
