Very nice repair DW6 Jake just finished welding up a Husqvarna frame and installing the last two transmission brackets that were in Canada to fix a customers rider that he was using with a plow to level stones in his driveway. BIG MISTAKE 2 brackets $8 plus $20 shipping, 4 hours of realignment and welding plus new drive belt all for push stone!
Nice fix Bob. That's amazing to have a 3/4" shaft break, definitely a manufacture defect, did they warranty the kit? Nice video for those who are able to fix things like that, it could definitely save a person some big money to learn how to accomplish that fix.
At the Green Industry Equipment Expo in Louisville, Kentucky and it is a good show with strong attendance. Gravely, Hydro Gear, Turf Torq, and 1000 other companies are here.
Nice looking lift gate on your truck 👍 my gravely dealer would be like what do you want to do for this matter thing is does gravely still make that model.of lawn mower 🙄🙄??
that hub was crazy-stuck on there. probably wouldnt have worked on that, but after heating the outer part, a can of compressed air turned upside down sprays super cold and can sometimes help, but damn that's crazy. tapers like a morse for instance are used by drill presses and similar and sometimes machines just rely on the supremely snug fit of a tapered bore and matching shaft to stay in place. Add any kind of rust into that equation...

Nice job Bob, it'd be a blessing to have few extra hands when putting the hydro back on the mower.
Man that was a messy job for sure and difficult as well. Good thing you had the correct tools to do the job. Thanks for the video.
I Like your setup for unloading these large mowers by yourself. Good job the repair!!
Good job brother. That was a pickle to get apart. Seems to run great. Take it easy mate
