Hi Harry, yes that was all our neighbours, you missed the Mill.s My brothers are Ian and Tommy, Robert is the youngest, my sisters were Margaret and Alice, unfortunately Margaret passed away nearly 13 years ago, Ian and Robert are in America, great hearing from you and i loved video i remember your wee mum, your house backed onto the wee Rye road school and we used to cut through your back garden to get to Ryebank, to save us from walking round, i.m sure she saw us lots of times but never said anything take care
Hi i recognise the Mccormack family from Ryebank Barmulloch, i stayed in Rye Road, my name is Bain, nee Paton, just to say i knew Davie, and thought this was lovely really enjoyed watching it.

There were the Mc Guires, Mc Lachlan ,Crombie , Cook and Loney families in that area if memory serves me. I left Glasgow in '62 but was a regular visitor until my maw passed on in 2013.Glad you enjoyed my wee video.
Hi i enjoyed looking back at old springburn, i was born there in 1951 lived in 21 reidhouse street. The real reason i'm looking back is on a long shot i'm trying to find information about my mums mother. My mother is betty scott, her mum died when she was two or three in childbirth 1930, she was then brought up by her aunt. My mum is now 87 and she has no information really about her mum or any photographs and i wouldlove to find any information about her mum. Her maiden name was margaret ferguson mcdowall she married peter scott in 1915 and died in 1930 Iknow they lived in springburn. I would be very grateful if anyone knows anything about her, as i would really like to be able to give my mother information before its too late. Many thanks.
