I never realized just how much good professional detailers actually cleaned the interior on cars. You guys really didn’t need to make a whole lot of changes when it came to this current Covid epidemic. You were bacteriologically getting a lot of things clean in the past as you were.

If it's your own car, just replace them with leds and you can leave them on for a week if you want. Kinda annoying coming back from vacation and not being able to leave the airport because your kid left the cabin light on in the car before you left🙃

You covered one thing that I have been asking for a long time.
I also use just enough carpet cleaning solution to wet the top and then use the brush to push the solution into the fibers.
So many detailers use a bug sprayer and soak the carpets, hammer it with a drill brush, extract, soak again, extract again and move to the next thing.
I always suspect mold in the near future but they say no mold issues. if they do fully extract and or dry the carpet and mats, it rarely is spoken about. Thanks

Pretty thorough and clear video👍👍, lots of great techniques. Love the mk7 gti. Would just recommend taking off watch or any jewelery before detailing, to avoid scratching any display or plastic components (or watch itself). Also, don't forget to hit the windows, and save them for last due to other sprays showing up on them easily. It is easier to wipe off window cleaner from the vinyl, vs wiping off vinyl cleaning products from windows.

Ah' I love this page... I watched the entire 4 part series. Very detailed and entertaining. Jason, you are awesome!!! I enjoy the balance of serious, methodical, with random levity... Thank you so much for the effort, your energy... Fortunately both of my cars are in fabulous shape [as it turns out] I am doing many things right. Not a spec of dirt in my door jams and the clay bar cleaning usually is free of much crud. Wheel wells could be improved upon... living on a gravel road in the country... has an impact on my efforts there...
I learned a heck of a lot, my effort will only improve with time and applications of new approaches. Keep up the fabulous work... thanks so much!!! Dr. Stain was an amazing contribution to the collective... LOLS!

I know and this particular video you did not remove the seats. I remember back in the late 80s I used to remove the seats out of my car. My friends and family thought that was strange to do. It wasn't until I started watching car detailing videos that I saw other people doing the exact same thing. Just a few years ago when I picked up a used expedition I pulled the seats out and cleaned underneath everything and it was even easier to put the seats up on my workbench and give them a good cleaning. I remember my friend that was helping thinking that I was crazy for doing all of that. It wasn't until I was done that he saw the big difference. It did have a musky smell in it from sitting. After I was done almost smelled like a brand new car.
I enjoy your videos and I look forward to the next one.

Not enough interpersonal drama and open mouth thumbnails. Remember reality tv shows about shops and work aren’t about shops and work, they are about relationships, values, stories and making faces that will go on leech. This is why all reality shows and most all big vlogs have staff writers and merch consultants.

Guys like free stuff, I like giving eveything I can, until i get on my feet. I won’t have any major tools right away, but I can ask some clients to share theirs for me to use. Good tip on keeping the carpet dry, by the way,, and extracting the excess with a strong air hose. Don’t want the car to smell musty after the job, just super ckean and polished. Brian Draper seems rather arbitrary to say. Depending on model of car and tools you have it can be almost easier than trying to reach all the in between spots

I'm lucky to be a materials engineer in training. I did a lot of research on coatings on steel and weather conditions on them. It's pretty interesting how there are a lot of better solutions for car paints that have been found for industry but they just want to cheap out and make you change your every other year.

Hey Bro, 1st of all thanks for the video. Nice and simple but effective cleaning method.
Can I ask, how do you clean / vacuum the debris between the front seats and the doors?

Forget about car detailing... get into broadcasting...your ability to talk fast....with pronunciation is very impressive...was waiting for some sort of error or stumble... never came...you have a talent in talking..
