    Where did you get the clear shrink tubing and what size is it?

      I get the heat shrink from electronics stores. I use 1/8", and 3/16" mostly.

    My heatgun is too powerful. Also, it lacks the nice nose piece yours has to narrow the heat and control it better. Didn't go well for me...

      Ya, we need a low power 1500 watt gun on a low setting with a concentrator nozzle.
